If they really wanted to make a top notch SC2 show, they should get the best korean players and casters/team owners. Unfortunately, this won't happen in the near future, so we're stuck listening to owners of mediocre foreign teams or not-so-succesful players that somehow got popular.

I already prefer this a thousand times over to SotG (at least in it's latest, semi-latest form), great to hear people talk about the game itself for a decent chunk of time.

Man, I just realized that not only are each of the hosts on a different continent, but if you split the Earth into four parts using the conventional hemispheres (north/south and east/west), then there's one person in each. That's pretty crazy.

I love this show and I think Artosis is doing a great job as well as the hosts he brings on, I feel like the show is aimed at people who actually play the game oppose to people that just follow sc2 to discuss it on forums and rent about their favorite teams / players therefore I can affiliate myself with it easily and the hosts come across just as normal dudes who are good at sc2 and not celebrities. Personally I love sc2 enough to tune in to both shows.

Artosis is making a good point about the Speedling resting on laurels. If Zergs can deny a Protoss 3rd just with a handful of 1/1 Speedlings, Zerg can easily abuse the gas accumulation. Reminds me of the 1st Parting vs. Life GSL Ro16 (Life being behind by a huge Pylon block at his natural AFTER the Nexus and Gateway from a FFE) yet still held the first 12 minutes of the game with Zerglings. (Made the 2nd Bo3 that much sweeter, and drew more attention when a P beats a Z) There really isn't a way to punish a moderate investment in Speedlings, so much so that you can get Ultralisks for such a slow T3 as Zerg. Is there an answer to that? You can only make Zerglings lose the a-move, you can't stop the Zerglings from exerting control. There'd be a lot more of an uproar if Zealots could carry you to Carriers and deny your opponents 3rd while being behind.

Just want to say awesome job to Artosis. Was listening to Meta during work. It definitely makes the day shorter

and really stay in tune with the sc2 world when I couldn't catch all the games on regular basis.

Faster mp3 would be awesome, or some kind live radio version (if possible) would be sick.

This isn't close to fair. Artosis does a good job of bringing up Korean and Pro metatgame topics for discussion... it works out very nicely from that point of view. Love the show.

That stings somebody out there badly!

Right now I think it amounts to you usually have to have AOE to deal with lings out in the open, but AOE is terrible against Ultras. Ultras are fairly great against most ground units. It makes this Zerg strat very nice since lings are so good for so long and in general that 3rd is pretty tough to get at P on some maps.

For sure though there's a lot of disproportionate and stupid rage about anything strong with toss in the community.

Mass speedling is something thats had potential for a long time and was why nani was right about forge fast expand or die trying. It's also why it was necessary to give the mothership recall. It's nice to see its potential finally realised truly.

I find it interesting that the style I used in WoL (ling/ultra) is gaining a lot of ground now. I used to do the same thing except throw in like 3 infestors purely for fungal to keep everything still and some extra AE dmg. I thought it funny that this strat seems so "new" as well because I've seen similar plays on the ladder here and there for a while. All it means is that protoss cant open phoenix against this build. Gateway/robo destroys it pretty well. Either the 2 immortal/colossus build or even a 2 colossus 7 gate timing. Or you can take a slow third. Keep in mind that the zergs are doing this build to punish greedy protoss that are going for a fast 3rd. Protoss has been comfortable with mamaship core and +1 zealots/sentries to hold off anything and be super greedy for so long.

EDIT: BTW, Artosis has the VOD on youtube (and has since the 8th) he just hasnt linked it. Follow them on youtube so you know it

At the end of episode 3 Moonglade does a shout out to a mate of his who is working on an indie game that is trying to progress through Steam's Greenlight system. I watched the VODs rather than the show live so don't know what the game was called or how to support it.

Can anybody point me in the right direction to the game so I can add the support? Much appreciated in advance.
