I remember from my BW days that literally every 3v3 + 4v4 was on this map and it was so much fun.
Here is a picture of the map for those who are not familiar with it:
(the bases at 6 and 12 o'clock position are spawn zones too, but for some reason they are not marked)
-It had a feature that every mineral patch had 20 000 minerals in it
-The main had 16-20 mineral patches (I don't remember exactly)
-And 2 gases compared to the original 1 in other maps (in SC2 it should have 4)
Every game was a lot of fun. And even the noobiest players could go for their favourite tactic 20 min no rush mass carrier since they didn't have to expand ever.
Here's a game featuring Husky in it:
Here's the Battle.net thread link please support it if you can:
Pretty sure that's the Huntress, or a variation of it. Either way, I've always preferred the Hunters. Standard bases, but otherwise exact same map. All I played in Broodwar for a good number of years, atleast melee-wise.

It's reminiscent of the Huntress, but it's not that either:
BGH was pretty imbalanced, but it was still good times. It was sweet when you played 3v3 and you spawned at 12 or 11 o'clock and there was nobody else at the other one so you just get an extra natural expansion for free. :D
I approve this thread and supported the one on bnet forums with the comment. Man, it was so much fun back in the day when me and my friends could barely play the game.

Thanks. Edited!
Son of a bitch. I just scrolled up and down between the two pictures like 20 times trying to figure out why the one you had in OP wasn't BGH....didn't even think that you may have edited it.
Does anyone know of an accurate SC2 remake of BGH? I can't find one with the correct number of minerals (15 for main, 9 for nat) and gases (4 for main, 2 for nat) per base.
For the Korean HOTS 21 h streamarathon they freaking used THE HUNTERS for a showmatch between MVP + Fan vs Bisu + Fan
It also looked like they had decent spaces between expansions, so no big abuse etc. I dont understand Blizzard... Why make Hunters map for a showmatch, and not add it for FFA or teamgames?
BGH was amazing, but I just don't see it working in SC2 (not to say that is wasn't extremely Protoss favored in BW). I think inability to just mass units or fool around due to early game balance revolving around spawn larva and forcefields would make it tough to enjoy in the same way. That being said, it might be possible to design a new map that does allow you to just sit back relax and mess around.

Protoss doesn't need forcefields in bgh. They just build cannons. lots and lots of cannons
There were a few conversions in WoL but all of them had flaws like directly translated size (map felt too small) or fixed hotkeys or something else that made it unplayable. If anything they should make a new hunters since low hunters was soo much more fun compared to BGH. The koreans even had tosswar leagues and clans that only played tosswars ect.
