The only thing a DNS server does is help your computer translate a hostname into an IP address (lets say sk.battle.net into 1.2.3.4). After your computer knows the real address of the place you are trying to reach (the SK bnet server in this case), the DNS server will not be contacted anymore. | ||

It also eliminated lag issues I was having while running flash/sc2. I would say try switching to googles DNS and see if that helps you at all. But I know that playing on KR bnet from Toronto is quite laggy, I'm in the same boat ![]() | ||

IPv4: 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 IPv6: 2001:4860:4860::8888 2001:4860:4860::8844 You simply navigate to the properties of your network's connection and put those DNS servers into the IPv4 and IPv6 options. | ||
