The warcraft story was pretty damn awesome and well written until they ran out of idea because WoW don't let them time to think enough stuff.
I do think WC3 had the best story out of any blizzard game, but it falls really short when you compare it to other mediums (books / film) or even other video games.

The other one felt much more clean and impressive. This one just looked like every other game trailer you see.
The first one was WAY better, not even close. This trailer is a huge letdown IMHO.
I don't know, I kind of think people expect too much. They obviously don't want to reveal half the audio clips from the campaign and already give you a puzzle to start completely unscrambling before the game even releases. Of course they're going to recycle a bit.

Zeratul will be back, I can feel it.
of course Zeratul is like the ultimate cockroach (in a good way) no matter if you drop a nuclear bomb on his planet, step on him and his family he just always manages to reappear hah.

It's hard to have good storyline in games anyway. Those who have the best story are often adaptation from a book, like TheWitcher.

Implying tropes are a bad thing...
Tropes are okay, but an over abundance of them (trope infested) doesn't do the story justice.

LORE BLIZZARD, LORE
ehh... tbh i think this is more believable than you state it to be.. do you really think he wouldn't have any feelings for her anymore? and since he obviously does, do you think he wouldn't want, if even only a slight chance, to try to get her back as well as redeem himself for what he feels (even though it isn't) is his fault for happening (her becoming the queen of blades).
