HotS Community Launch Party Contests
To ensure that the HotS Community Launch Party will be awesome throughout the broadcast we want to invite you to be part of the fun. We will be holding a handful of contests to let fans of SC2 show their love of the game and create something cool, then showing the best creations on stream! The contests will range from extremely silly, such as making a raster image of White-Ra and taping it in public places, to adorable such as making your pets watch ESPORTS videos. We will have eight contests, each more awesome than the last.
There is more up for grabs than just fame from having your amazing art shown during the event. In addition to the pride and glory of being shown among the top submissions on stream, we have a host of prizes from Day[9]TV and TeamLiquid such as a sweet Zerg messenger bag, a battlecruiser Megablocks model, and a host of t-shirts from Blizzard and TeamLiquid. You could even win a collectible figure of your favorite SC2 character!

White-Ra is Everywhere!

Use an image of White-Ra (original or photoshop creations) and then create a mural of White-Ra’s face in a conspicuous location. Put him on a mannequin or your school's cafeteria, and send us photos of your art!
For extra credit you can use rasterbator.net to generate your favorite White-Ra pictures in rasterbator form, making them all the more grand on walls or outside buildings.
Coaching Challenge

Have a family that knows your StarCraft obsession but doesn't understand the beauty in attack moving? Time to show them the way of the 6 pool.
Record yourself coaching a significant other / parent / friend who has no previous RTS experience on how to beat a medium AI through only voice instructions. Bonus points for cross gender.
Pet Audience

Record your pet watching a StarCraft VOD or stream for as long as they sit there watching it. Minimum time: at least 10 seconds. No holding them down or forcing them.
We highly suggest one with lots of action to keep their attention.

StarCraft Karoke

Express yourself through the magic of children's cartoon songs. Record yourself singing a song from any classic children's cartoon karaoke, but replace many of the lyrics with StarCraft references. Using a staff panel we'll decide which are the most well written and sung, make sure get as into it as possible.
Post-It-StarCraft Mural

Create a mural of anything related to StarCraft with post-it notes. You can use http://www.heavymural.com to create your own design or use inspiration from online.
The bigger and crazier the better!
ESPORTS Photo Caption

Use any famous ESPORTS photo and caption it in strange or hilarious ways. You can find some ideas from collections such as this or this, or just search around on Liquipedia.

FanFiction Challenge

Write a preferably PG short fanfiction (less than 500 words). It can be about anything, the universe, a specific progamer, ESPORTS, etc. Funny or outrageous stories are encouraged. StarCraft personalities will read the best ones out loud on video.
Poems work too. Seriously, though, we mean PG entries only.
Cardboard Progamer

Print out an image of a prominent ESPORTS personality (large face or full body) and put it on a large cardboard cutout, then take pictures with it in famous or fun locations.
Show him following you on your daily activities, or out for a special trip.
