This is an old video that I posted on my TL blog a long time ago (June 25, 2012). It's a 8 week old kitten watching Starcraft 2 with me on my laptop in the dark. You can tell that she still hasn't fully developed her motor skills because she's still a little wobbly when she moves. She's standing on top of the laptop keyboard and I still have no idea what the shortcut is in Windows 7 that toggles the view from landscape to portrait. Raynor strolled into the bridge of the Hyperion nonchalantly, taking a moment to look around. The bridge seemed strangely deserted for a ship that was the size of a city, in fact there was no one there. He was looking for Tychus Findley, the finest Marine in the entire Universe, as he had business to attend to. The dark made it hard to see, so Raynor took out his iPhone and used a torch app to light the way. There was a faint cough coming from one of the shadows, so Jim when to investigate. He found Tychus there, he looked upset. ‘Tychus, what’s got y’all looking so forlorn?’ Raynor asked, concern in his eyes. Tychus snivelled, ‘I was...I was just thinkin’ ‘bout the size of my gun. I-It seems kinda, well, small.’ Raynor smiled, and grasped Tychus’ gun firmly in his hand, resting it gently on the old Marine’s battered suit. ‘Now Tychus, I’ve seen the gun of every man on this ship since I came, and I can say with all sincerity, that you my friend have the biggest gun of all. Hm, your gun seems to be full of ammo Tychus. Have you not used it in a while?’ ‘Aw, Jimmy boy, you can always read my mind. I was about to fire it off then, before you interrupted me. I was just staring at this picture of Kerrigan, and it got me all riled up and I just...had to shoot my gun.’ Tychus started at Raynor pitifully, as he slowly caressed his gun in his large, masculine hands. Raynor put a hand on Tychus’ shoulder, before whispering ‘Well it’s no good to leave it now, otherwise your gun might jam just when it matters most.’ And with that, Raynor took Tychus’ gun in both hands, and started trying to pull the trigger as hard as he could. It wouldn’t budge, so Raynor was forced to try and heat up the barrel by rubbing it profusely. Tychus grunted, ‘It’s not enough Jimmy boy, it’s close to firing but we need more.’ Raynor reached for some oil conveniently placed nearby, and began spreading it the whole length of the gun. The grizzled soldier was a veteran at fixing guns, and he could sense it still wasn’t enough. Out of sheer frustration, Raynor took the base of the gun in his mouth and bit as hard as he could, and he bit and he bit and he bit. Eventually Tychus yelled, ‘It’s...gonna...fire...Jimmy boy’, and with one last rub the gun unloaded all of its ammunition over Tychus and Raynor. The two Marines sighed and began to make their way to the bathroom, as they were now covered in the warm sticky liquid that is the result of getting a gun shot at your body. | ||
