I wanted Flash so bad for my fantasy team, but I think he would have downgraded my whole team too much with his high value. Fantasy has been preforming well in all matchups, and I easily think he was worth a 9. BByong and majOr are both in my opinion two very solid terrans players, even though majOr haven't played proleague before. I didn't lay much thought behind Calm and s2, I only knew about s2 victory over Jaedong, and I think he is a strong player. I don't even expect Calm to play. Last but not least, I thought Wooki was an rather obvious pick, since he has been performing very well recently.
Anti Team
I haven't been impressed by either Puma or HerO, and I don't expect it to change. Hyvaa thought, when proleague started, I thought we would be one of the absolute strongest Zerg players around, but that haven't been the case, as he often underperformed.

My thought process was go with 3 solid players that will play every match. For this reason I avoided KT players because you can't be sure what players will play because they have a stacked roster right now. So I picked 3 aces in Taeja, Bogus, and Roro. I expect all 3 of them to play in every match and I'm hoping they each produce multiple wins. I didn't go with Fantasy or Rain because it is a guessing game between who will be sent out first. I would hate to pick Fantasy and see Rain get an all kill. I skipped Flash as well because his TvT seems very weak so it feels like he can get sniped rather easily. I don't see why anyone would skip Taeja in this format but maybe I will eat my words lol. Bogus and Roro both seem capable of all kills as well so they were obvious choices for me. My other 3 players are all from KT so I'm just expecting to get 3 points for each KT win. I went with SKT as my team because I think between Rain and Fantasy they should earn some decent points in this format. I am not too confident in my anti team but I guess I will just see how it plays out.

4 zergs because zerg is probably way better in this format. Also I've liked C-H and ZerO way back before they even came up with making glasses with no lenses. I dunno what's with Calm I though he played Terran or w/evs but if he switched back he'll probably get me some wins too, if not I'll switch him for a EG player for a few giggles. free for protoss because he's cheap and if he can get a few wins that's just dandy, got hOnsin for T because his price was right. Anyway I tried to dodge all the last-boss type guys, these guys get thrown out a bit earlier and can therefore potentially get more wins n shit if one of them starts mewrdering.
Oh yeah, and Bisu is the real captain for me, last round there was a few flukes but now I'm confident he'll deliver.
RorO to screw up my FPL and Trap because his name is funny.

Dear was the most impressive cheap Protoss in the last round and he has earned my pick again. He will get revenge against Wooki and crush his soul this week.

Sin has been a surprise for me. At 5 points and a 2-2 record against top tier Terrans (most of which were ace players) you can hardly say no to this kid. Being on a stacked team like Stars can be a gamble though as it's very likely that Shy, ZerO, and Soulkey could get all kills before he even plays.

My Action of this round. I think this guy will do extremely well for some reason.

Kind of a throwaway pick, but he is currently the 2nd best Terran on EG-TL and will clearly be an option if a Terran is needed. I'll be looking at him to get one, maybe two kills per week.

Again, probably not the smartest idea to select the 2nd best zerg on such a stacked team, but he done good for me last round and even surprised me with a win against RorO.

T8 is shaping up nicely... but this was more of a numbers pick. The only other options were KHAN and STX and I don't see either doing well this week. T8 however could very likely go 2-0 as they are facing a slumpy CJ and KHAN.

Crazy-Hydra seems more of a sniper to me in this type of format. I doubt he'll put up big numbers. hOpe will never see time. JangBi's big week was a fluke imo.

My general strategy for the main team this round is get two big name players that will play every match and are likely to multi kill, and fill out the rest with two decent supporting players and two players who most likely won't play but will provide points if their team wins. Betting on Stars and SKT to do well here, It was nice to see SKT at only 4 points, that made things easier. Every time either Stars or SKT wins I will get 3 points, since they are two of the top teams in Round 1 I figure this is a relatively safe bet. Flying did very poorly in Round 1 which caused his two point score, but if he turns it around, advances from the up/downs and starts doing well in PL it will be the best 2 point investment ever.
For the anti team It's pretty simple, pick one high point player who I think will do the worst of all of them in exchange for being able to pick two players who are unlikely to play a single game this round. If EG-TL starts doing really well it may end up biting me since I will take a -2 for each EG-TL match win. I had to pick a player worth at least 8 points, out of all the choices Effort has the worst record in Round 1 and is not in the GSL. If he goes on a tear I'm probably screwed, but if it turns out that he wins very rarely and Idra and Zenio both play 0 games I'll look like a genius

Reality at 3 points might seem high, but look up this guy's bloody match ups, holy shit the man's got it hard and still won against bogus and baby. Samsung team points.
Revival at 3 points is a steal given how well he performs in team league. EGL team points.
SKT T1 for only 4 points is a steal, Two aces in fantasy / rain who are super high point value in the same team?
Hitman easiest anti ever, 3 points and might not get sent out.
JYP has crippling disability in one match up, this is winners league man.

Dear and Sin both might do you in even worse than RorO. Dear is the best protoss on STX and Sin is the best Terran on WJS. Both will easily get play time, especially if a map calls for their specific race.

But if I had to guess what I'm doing. Jaedong still seems far more expensive than his in game worth, I don't think he'll get enough multi kills to really destroy my anti team. That said, he's still gonna get me some negatives for sure. Hitman and terminator won't get many games or kills imo.
Main team. I had to scrap fantasy! But Soulkey was so worthwhile last season, I think WJS points will be less split between him and shy this time, but it's a flip of the coin which way luck will go. Reality and Hydra are first round players that have a good chance of getting the first win. s2 seemed to be a potential sniper with a 2-1 record last round. Flying and Wooki have decent chances of playing and are worth their cost. Oh and stars have more chance at 2-0 this week than any other team imo.
I really wanted Fantasy and Dear again, but I couldn't afford them plus anyoneelseatall.

Bbyong was really inexpensive and I have faith in his power, so he gets captain spot
Fantasy is a total nerd baller and as a bonus with him as the opener, I can trade him after week1 if he's actually a total samsung player
Jaehoon, speed, and soO were all solid+relatively cheap picks. Jaehoon is pretty much guaranteed to play for T8, soO is a strong zerg (one of the very few) on SKT, and speed is a player who has shown good performance recently and I think he will get played a lot.
Major because he's an established sc2 player and has been pretty strong before- I believe that now that he is living the dream, it will inspire him to work harder and give him the power to hit like a 7-point pick.
Picked CJ for the team because they were 3 points and i'm a fanboi and CJ is awesome and skyhigh is going to allkill everyone.
Anti is all samsung, rofl. Shine and Stork were fairly obvious picks (imo). Jangbi I decided to pick just because I don't like him because he beat hero[j] in ace match >
