I'm not sure how people are taking this article so very seriously, like that Ganero person who said he would report it for racism? Other people pointing out its bias and stupidity? Do people read only the first paragraph and then comment on it?

Now, this is just a summary that isn't entirely correct, but for the most part is. The OP is saying the entire zerg infestor dominance is easily explained by a crazy conspiracy theory. Blizzard actively lowering zerg's skill ceiling in order to cause a resurgence of white dominance in esports, causing viewership and therefore profits to rise. That this actively being discussed in Blizzard HQ and they are trying their hardest to cause their money hungry schemes to go unnoticed. After uncovering their dastardly scheme the OP in his last paragraph states his selfless intentions. Esports is more important than him, his winrates, or anything for that matter. He beseeches blizzard to make a change to fungal growth for the good of esports, Make it more powerful and more dominating. Only with a more powerful fungal growth will Esports have the chance to flourish as it deserves. Only with a more powerful fungal growth will foreigners and the white man stand a chance at dethroning the mystifying koreans, causing more viewers, more profits, and causing blizzard's scheme to finally come to its fruition.

Read that to yourself...does it sound like something you should get up in arms about? Does it sound like something you should get serious about?

I'm sure if you tried you could take some points here and there about balance, but thats not really the point I imagine. It is damn funny and enjoyed reading the entire thing. Anyone who is taking this article super serious...umm...How are you reading the OP without having a good laugh? It is a crazy conspiracy theory that is meant to be an entertaining and hilarious read.

Are you sure about this? To me, the sarcasm in the ending can be interpreted to support his view about the conspiracy theory.

"Blizzard is making zerg easy so that white people win and they get money. Here's my proof. Go ahead Blizzard, keep making the fungal stronger please, it's good for esports".

That's one way you can see it.

I laughed, I cried, I had this awkward cough in the middle of it when I tried to say the names of various patch zergs. I guess at this point if Stephano said they exist in a Team Acer interview, they must exist. I hope Blizz gets this worked out, at this point, I bought HotS because I had faith in them to make the game as good as it was around mid 2011. Im a little less faithful at this point.

In terms of skill margin, playing terran requires much, much more skill to play it at the highest level. If we look at all the high placing foreigners at MLGs and other tournaments, they are always zerg. Because of this zerg domination, us NA terrans have to basically play 12hours/day to match a zerg player who plays 2hours/day or wait hopelessly for blizzard to patch zerg.. TT

Who can blame Blizzard for wanting to help Stephano?

A 3 base ... coinflip xD? what does it mean? is it a thing?
how is it diffrent from 2 base coinflip?
I cant conprehend 3 base coinflip.

I think what the OP means is that the matchup has become based around a single 3-base timing (2-2, 150 supply), since early game timings are nerfed and the late game is so zerg dominant.

3 base is the max u can get(minerals) 4 base u only populate gases... how can u call 3 base 150 supply push a coinflip. Also are we gonna now cry coz someone cant cheese? I find Terran Mech to be incredibly potent late game and hard to beat with nice upgrades. I think all the whining is lazyness.

Finally someone put the time into this that it deserves. Shame it will just get ignored like its many predecessors.

the irony is that you haven't read it, since there haven't been many predecessors about Blizzard's conspiracy to empower white SC2 players.

I did read it--the snarky, obviously facetious "white boy" part was a bit oblique to be taken seriously don't you think?

uhh, then your comment about "someone putting time into this" when a vast majority of the content is written to support the joke doesn't make much sense. also, oblique doesn't mean what you think it means. i imagine you found that word while scanning the captions

My mistake. Obtuse**

Someone putting thought into a discussion on TvZ in its current state which, while relying primarily on caricatural and sensationalist overexaggeration for emphasis, gets across the feeling that many people have w.r.t the match-up.

Call me a balance whiner if you want, but I think he addresses many of the legitimate concerns many people feel. While most similar posts are often brief and poorly written, this is the first instance of someone actually opening the door for a discussion.

The conspiracy theme was clearly meant to make fun of the general "Blizzard conspiracy/bashing" people tend to adopt in these situations; I'm sorry if you took it seriously and ignored the rest of the post.

Laughed pretty hard at your last part, great read, enjoyed it throughout.
But I gotta admit your OP is getting outshined by the comments, especially the ones responding to kawaiirice, who simply jumped onto the train. As if Kawaiirice wouldn't know.

Lol at the terran stats.
Unfortunately Terran was also the most demanding race in SCBW, so I doubt Blizz will do anything against that. Addtionally they even said that Terrran is designed to be strong early and midgame but weak lategame.

itw as the most demanding but in zvt i felt like zerg was more difficult but yes i generally agree with this. feel that blizzard "likes" that terran is hard as hell

Zerg is far less demanding than terran mechanically.

I love this thread. It says exactly what the truth is, exactly in the way it should. Thank you, Ver.

Lol wat? Blizzard rigged the game to make "white people" win more over Koreans? And your best argument for this is a Korean fan saying he hopes Stephano wins? This is fucking ridiculous.

For the sake of it, yes I know it's humorous :p

I agree. 90% of his posts is so good. But then that just stupid theory. I honestly think OP overthinks it. Blizzard had no idea zerg would be easier to play actually after the infestor buff. They just wanted to buff mutas in zvz.
