I'm not surprised quite a few meanings are lost in translation. For example the closest English/American equivalent for the above would be asking your parents to come pick you up and being told to take the bus. Asking why, you're told "its builds character". It's not about disciplining Alicia in the conventional sense of the word.

If you pick fights everywhere, then yes, in the end you will only have enemies. If both your entire team, the teams around you, and an e-sports organization don't want to work with you or in your team anymore, then it seriously is time for some reflection on your own performance, instead of playing the victim. Its exactly the opposite
Esf wanted slayers to join them because of boxer but slayers refused.. Thats the bigger reason for the practice ban.
Also not wanting to work with a person and ordering players not to practice with players of a whole organization is not the same. The latter is no personal issue but a calculated seggregation move to get slayers into esf... Too bad jessica and boxer rather disbanded slayers than join esf

Feels like a management fail to me. Im still waiting for other versions of the story. Its like Jessica's opinion vs. many players and else? I just think those problems would have been solved so much better.
Random person "J" comes and gets promoted to be the manager after 2 months, is now responsible for sponsors -> Fucks up everything and even makes some of the players act weirdly and be against Jessica(+ maybe Boxer) -> They dont solve the problems with players, just keep disbanding them to B-teams and crap because they cant solve the problems between them, and the players start wanting to leave the team. Has the right decisions and actions been made by Jessica to solve this?
How could players like MMA son of Boxer start listening to the bullshit the NEW manager talks just like that? Then turn to be against Boxer? Not believing what Jessica and Boxer say? This stinks.
Well I think the main big reason was the problems between players and the bad atmosphere in the team house. Also between other teams and Slayers players. I think this is just a management fail and players cant do shit about it. Feels weird that the others teams would act like that, though. Cant be sure how much of this is true.
This is a god damn mess. I dont know who to believe.
Im just wondering, how this mess could have been avoided? Its hard to say since we dont even know what is true and what is not.
Anyways, I hope MMA and other players find new good teams and start giving awesome results again.

That what happens when you start doing business with women, especially when she is your wife. Guys cant be frank to girls in the same way they can to other guys. Boxer was a legend, everyone respected him, he was a real collective's leader - thats why team had good atmospehere and who were jessica to the team? Just a random women who sleeps with boxer. Gratz, captain BoxeR, you killed your team yourself and left your ship dying first. Thats not how real captains do.

As far as I can tell, that's a small but nasty rumor that arose from misunderstanding on our part, during the Dragon controversy. In other words, I don't think you're missing a thing.

This is really sad, they were tied for my favorite Korean team with FXO.

It seems like Alicia is high maintenance but felt that he wasn't cared for as much as other players who played in the GSTL matches and felt that he was treated unfairly sometimes as a result; He's not complaining about the fact the he didn't get rides sometimes, but the fact he got treated differently than players who played in the GSTL matches.
It might've been somewhat childish of him but all progamers in team houses are somewhat high maintenance in general because they have all their utilities/necessities taken care of for the most part. They only have to occassionally clean and such but most of the laundry and food and etc. is always taken care of...
I'm not exactly too sure if Jessica is trying to blow this out of proportion by publicizing all of her responses in such a way, because it seems a little bit childish/immature (Jessica's response to Alicia on PlayXP at least)...If she considers herself a manager/head coach, she should present herself professionally even when things get rough.

By her own first message, she showed multiple examples where she purposely separated players. So, you've got players that are blacklisted by other teams, and now you are cutting them off from their own teammates? How dumb can you get? Isn't that a scenario where you should get your players together even closer for "us against the world"? She did the exact opposite.
Good leadership involves cutting out the cancer. If you can't fix the problem, you should always try to isolate it.

She actually risked alot for him, to make him play in the NASL. AFAIK, she did not nearly suicide the team for another player. Thats what i would call ungrateful.
Thats actually the one thing i would grant the hate-folks here. She acted less like a manager, and more like a mother. She protected Alicias "right" to play in NASL, against the eSF. A good ->manager<- would have told Alicia to deal with not competing in NASL.

my love for sc2 started with watching cella streaming. "insert coin for sing kekeke"
his becoming head coach and the legend of boxer made me a fan of slayers. mass hellions... all good stuff
seeing them disband makes me sad.

Jessica is still partly at fault, though. Sure, eSF is wrong in embargo players from training with Slayers, and Alicia just lying. But Jessica still did a couple of mismanagement, primarily give manager J all the shot on dealing with sponsors. That's a huge mistake that you cannot ignore at all.
Everyone is partly at fault here. Blaming only eSF's embargo as a sole reason why Slayers disbands is as bad as blaming everything on Jessica.

Crank seems like a little baby now. Def not supporting him or Axiom or w/e here out. So many players, so many money grubbing babies after going to foreign events.

They got blacklisted by other teams. Yeah, that sucks and it's disappointing that ESF would do that. So I don't put the blame on Jessica or Slayers for the blacklist. However, it's still up to you as a manager to create a practice environment that can survive being blacklisted by outsiders. That is not what happened at all. By her own first message, she showed multiple examples where she purposely separated players. Oh wow, that's the point of hiring a manager.... You hire a manager and expect him to work on those matters right away. It's like hiring a CEO and you expect him to do his jobs right when he steps in the office. What's the point of hiring someone for a management position and you don't let him work? You hire a fricking manager, not a cooking lady...
And given the context, Slayers was doing good, and it was just a renew contract, so anybody figures it should be easy to handle. How the hell do we know the manager didn't do his job and sabotaged the team?

No sane person would do that, even if there really was a "really wrong thing". This sole sentence tells the whole story for me, and the story imo is that Jessica is nuts.
Sad day anyway, there must have been of lot of wrongs for such a successful team to go down.

Nobody yells at boxer. These young players don't seem to understand that he's one of the reasons they have gaming as a career option. Must have been incredibly frustrating for him, especially with what he went through early in his career.

Ganzi, TaeJa, Golden, and Sleep are cases where players left the team with no problems. In TaeJa's case, he requested that he be allowed to leave, and it was accepted. He wanted to play on a different team, not necessarily a foreign team, but in the process TeamLiquid sent a request. Whenever I see him doing well on his new team, I'm proud. He's not the style of player that practices a lot or puts in a lot of effort. However, seeing him play so well despite that makes me think that while MMA is the type of player that gets it done through effort, TaeJa is really a genius kind of player. If he could train under a system, then I think he could become the best player. The context before and after sounds all nice, but right in the middle there's this nasty little cheap shot. Why say he's lazy? What good does that do for anyone? It's just a cheap shot that added absolutely nothing to the message except make her look like she wants to burn every bridge she can.
