It's kind of sad but really understandable that jaedong got seeded for code S over roro, in terms of skill at the moment it should have easily been roro but I guess GOM's got to think business wise and jaedong's much better for business than roro. Also surprised no reality there they could have at least put in one terran for this season of code A.

Jaedong literally has no edge over Roro results wise.

WCS Korea: Roro (4), Jaedong (16)
Proleague: Roro (8-6), Jaedong (10-9)
OSL: Neither qualified
Fangirls: Roro (3), Jaedong (456,245)

Jaedong has the power to will himself to victory.

I feel like JD is more of a fan favourite and GOM maybe considerated that aswell when chosing the seeds.

Flash has been mediocre in SC2, jaedong at least has some results.

I'm not sure if these are the right picks for the seeds, but you won't see me complaining since Jaedong AND EffOrt got into the GSL lol.

By.Sun will be a force to be reckoned with in Code S for sure though. He seemed like the most obvious choice for one of the seeds too.

Get Code A and Jaedong gets Code S

Obviously Jaedong is wildly more popular, and this is going to make this season the greatest ever, but I feel bad for Roro.

Bison deserves his spot. He has been the best player in Proleague, is OSL (1-0 over MKP), and was the second best placing KeSPA player during WCS Korea.

this, totally unfair.

Umm, no, not totally unfair? If they were just doing it on personality they could have invited Flash and Oov to Code S. I'm sure that would give them a lot more attention. They've done it because they think those are the best players. Kespa actually has no incentive to do it based on popularity because they should reserve the more popular players for their own leagues (OSL and SPL). I doubt this has anything to do with popularity.

Hmm surprised Reality is not one of the seeds.

This!! Reality with Rain an RorO impressed me the most through WCS!
And RorO deserves a CodeS-Seed more than JD! But who knows what GOM has in mind or was planning with the players.

T_T Roro most definitely should have Code S over JD.

Kinda ridiculous that Roro wasn't give a code S seed, but oh well. Kinda surprised to not see Hero in there.

Roro is undisputably currently more accompolished in SC2 than Jaedong. Why is JD in Code S and Roro in Code A?

Also, if you think any SC2 tournament in the world wouldn't die to have Jaedong or Bisu play in it, I'm fairly sure you are mistaken. These guys have a lot of fans.

It is, there is absolutely no reason that jaedong should get a better seed than roro. Roro has the better record in pro league, he posted the much better results in WCS (Jaedong beat sC and genius compared to roro's leenock and seed and came 4th) neither qualified for the OSL. Jaedong is seeded because he's infinitely more popular than roro no other reason.

I feel bad for roro, I guess GOM are picking Jaedong for the popularity, seeing if they can encourage more kespa follwers to watch GSL.

Jaedong so sick in Code S, hopefully he's up to the task. Hoping to see Flash and Fantasy (after that OSL performance) in there too through the qualifiers.

To be honest, Jaedong was a total BOSS in PL ace matches this season, you can't deny it.

Alright, they are based off Proleague results with ace matches weighted more.

Sucks for Roro. Seeing as I like Jaedong more than Roro, I will enjoy him in Code S and can't wait to see who he faces, but I feel like Roro would have a better chance of actually getting far.
