GOM Tv is being smart here, they picked the best of the top 4 famous Koreans to get more foreign eyeballs. Roro is undisputably currently more accompolished in SC2 than Jaedong. Why is JD in Code S and Roro in Code A? Also, if you think any SC2 tournament in the world wouldn't die to have Jaedong or Bisu play in it, I'm fairly sure you are mistaken. These guys have a lot of fans.

However, I feel Effort has a lot more chance in code S at this moment than Jaedong. Nontheless, it's still great. Naniwa vs Jaedong in the finals :D

Seeing as I like Jaedong more than Roro, I will enjoy him in Code S and can't wait to see who he faces, but I feel like Roro would have a better chance of actually getting far. Unless death stare Anyway; I guess it's fair to judge ace matches as more important. I guess KeSPA might know best in this case.

Hopefully its not Mana.. He says korean zergs are easy.. but JD is using euro zerg style. Edit: Scratch That. Mana and JD cannot play each other in first round groups.

I hope for Jaedong and Sun that they get to play in the groups two weeks from now, since as we all know just two weeks is a lot for allowing KeSPA players to improve. Jaedong and Sun both have playoffs this week. I can see KeSPA asking if they can make it so they play in two weeks instead of next week.

Doesn't seem right. That's gotta be group selection for Ro16, not Ro32... ![]()

Bison deserves his spot. He has been the best player in Proleague, is OSL (1-0 over MKP), and was the second best placing KeSPA player during WCS Korea. My sentiments exactly.. I love JD, but RorO has ben the one who's impressed me the most out of the KeSPA players.

Expected Jaedong since he's way too popular not to have, even if his ability isn't really the highest amongst his fellow players. I did think that Sun might get passed over for Roro due to his crazy schedule, but I guess he's going to be MC levels of busy for the next few months (albeit without all that presidential jet-setting). Nice to see Shy and Trap getting some recognition for their PL performances.

I'm sure that would give them a lot more attention. They've done it because they think those are the best players. Kespa actually has no incentive to do it based on popularity because they should reserve the more popular players for their own leagues (OSL and SPL). I doubt this has anything to do with popularity. There is the error, the best one atm is in CodeA ![]()

The seeds have nothing to do with popularity, afaik KeSPA used their proleague rankings (not exactly sure how they work) A reddit user (rbcd) posted this: Proleague Ranking Code S: Rain - 13-6, 7 ace match wins = 495 JaeDong 10-9, 6 ace match wins = 390 Code A: Trap =11-4, 3 ace match wins = 375 RoRo = 9-6, 3 ace match wins = 315 Effort = 9-8, 3 ace match wins = 315 Shy 9-2 = 270 Barely Missed the cut: Hero 8-5, 2 ace match wins = 270 Stork 8-3, 1 ace match win = 255 Soulkey 7-7, 1 ace match win = 225 Stats 6-2, 2 ace match wins = 210
