Destiny is the 21st century "Beaver" from that 20th Century black and white show "Leave it to Beaver". A comedy version of that show was done where Beaver shoots Eddie Haskell and Beaver's dad says.. "maybe 25 years in a maximum security prison will teach you not to play with guns". It's another lesson for Beaver.. i mean Destiny.... dont give out your personal account information and leave the passwords the same for a long time. | ||

ROOT originally disbanded because they lacked sponsors and the ability to retain talent. Their best players, like QXC and Sheth and Kiwi, where getting poached. They couldn't even keep Major. Coaching and streaming is nice, but unless you're actually good at either, they're not stable sources of income. AND they eat into time you can be using to practice and actually become good at the game. Teams NEED your so-called 'idiot sponsors'. ROOT already tried the experiment of holding out only for 'the right sponsors' and what they ended up with was a dysfunctional team that couldn't fly their players anywhere and charted a small handful or mediocre tournament results and prize winnings. I think the only player that achieved any notable results was Kiwikaki at the first few MLGs, and now Vibe at WCS. Catz absolutely made the right call. He's the ultimate friend that is choosing to protect the 25 other people that support him from the toxic reputation of his one great friend that happens to be a habitual fuck-up. | ||

Because many successful teams "stand up to some idiot sponsors" right? It seems like root wants to become a real team, rather than the "friendly atmosphere FU attitude towards the big teams sponsorless team." And a real team cannot have someone like destiny, it's just bad for their ability to get and maintain sponsors. I'm not a fan of root or destiny, but honestly this move is only good for root. By keeping him they would've ensured that they would be a sponsorless team. | ||

Could Destiny make a case out of this? He makes a living out of this and it kinda is his buisness and these hatecampaigns(eg. in the SRS subreddit) are obviously designed to destroy his life. They also often use false facts like him sharing nude photos of underage girls etc. Now they even threat his last remaining sponsor cloudninelabs with emailing their partners for still supporting Destiny etc. This just seems so destructive towards him and way out of proportion. Is this really legal? o0 | ||

I don't know what the law is in Germany but he is actually right. If destiny willingly provided information that is considered consent as far as photos/video/media go. So he could not sue her on that basis. | ||

Hahahaahaa lol. Soooo...If I get Stephano's tweeter account and Tweet all day "EG SUX MY BALLS I HAZ THEIR MONEY" do you think Stephano will get fired? Really, you think this? Stephano is actually good at SC2. Destiny is only known for his big mouth, why is that good for SC or Esports in general? It's like hiring a football player who can talk crap all day but has mediocre talent to catch, throw or kick a football, why would that guy be an asset to the sport or any team? If destiny goes to europe and actually gets good at SC2 instead of just being a big mouth i'm sure a team would give him another shot. | ||

For a long time, i didn't really care, as i just don't watch his stream. But from time to time, the forum is bombarded by the fallouts of his activities. And here we go again, discussing about "mah freedum of speech" because of racial slur, trashing a tournament because "my bro Destiny got boycotted" or fighting the "dirty feminist whores" because Destiny got burnt when he tried to be a player with his friends. Whatever willingly or not (and i think he is as his relevancy depends on drama), he drags the TL forum down. Therefore, i'm asking the mods to consider the idea of banning or limiting the threads about Destiny shenanigans. | ||
