I wouldn't want to be in a team with people you can't trust, even though I've acted poorly. Who was it and why? Sorry if this was answered somewhere in the thousands of posts :s Will the humble chatlog-leaker please come forward? Oh, what's that? You're too busy moving up the root organizational ladder with your hall monitor sash firmly tied in place? Okay, sorry for bothering you..

If Destiny were a far, far better player, or teams had other reliable sources of revenue other than sponsors, or there were just more sponsorship money in general, I don't imagine it would be necessary to let go of Destiny for this kind of behaviour. But playing a video game for a living is a rare privilege, sponsorship money is hard to come by, and most pro's and semi-pro's are expendable. I definitely think Catz made the right call. He shouldn't have to explain why his players are stupid boneheads to companies actually willing to fund and sponsor players in an scene.

But honestly, as a celebrity figure in the StarCraft community with over 3000 viewers on his livestream, Destiny should know better to entangle himself in something like this. This means he shouldn't take pictures of his own genitalia and send it to someone else. This again like many times before, shows Destiny's character to be unfit for the number of followers he has and that he does not deserve to be a part of StarCraft II e-sports. A man is defined by his actions, not his words and his actions are not that of a mature adult's. Any team that is willing to pick him up at this point is just completely foolish.

I would care about team such as ROOT if it has at least some standards and personally I'm interested more about the games than just drama queens (like Destiny). You can watch all the great players and great games you want. There are like 100 people regularly putting out "better" games than Destiny, and they're all experiencing the same level of instability that he is. Has anyone figured out what happened to MMA to have him go from 'carrying slayers' to 'ostracized'? Nope, but it wasn't caused by a reddit mob so nobody cared after 3 days. Every week there are like 5 threads named 'x leaves/joins Y', and this is no different. It's just a bit shocking because some people thought root had balls.

Plus there will always be white knights on the internet. The girl overreacted quite a bit over something she was never supposed to have known, private conversations are private for a reason y'know. I hope that if Destiny is able to make a case in court and sue her for leaking said conversations or maybe invading his privacy then he does it. (I'm not very familiar with the US legislation or court system, unfortunately - maybe that's not feasible at all) That said I'm not a fan of Destiny. He has done some stupid shit. Maybe he does need to grow up. But I think all of the people who genuinely get offended by this should grow the fuck up too. Stop being so butthurt over trivial nonsense that does not affect your own life in any shape, way or form at all. Seriously, the pussification of this world and the tendency towards a more politically correct society is downright pathetic. But in fact I don't think it's people who got offended that emailed Destiny's sponsors. At least not this time. I think it's just people who hate him with a passion and want to see his career burn to the ground; people who probably didn't bother to read both sides of the story or try to comprehend what they read in the first place. And it's those people who will eventually ruin eSports because they don't bother checking facts (at least the facts that are available anyway) before sending a feedback message to sponsors. And they're only a vocal minority too, it probably wouldn't be as bad if those of us who are lazy (myself included) messaged sponsors thanking them for the support of this scene that we love so much. /rant tl;dr version would be she gives him the naked picture he shares it with Fayth and TT1 in a private skype conversation someone (probably her, because she had his password) leaks the conversation she gets upset, changes password on his email and skype, and leaks his penis pictures for the whole internet to see he doesn't leak her naked pictures, gets thrown off ROOT

The naked pictures which Destiny send to his friends were from the girl named BlueTea who later posted those twitter pictures. And then she got publicly threatened by Destiny himself Thanks for the new work location, I wonder what your boss will think of this. Or your dean, for that matter. I wonder if it'd affect your scholarship or financial aid? You can find the full story in the post under OP.

She found out and published the Skype log of that conversation, which isn't exactly flattering to Destiny, and a picture purporting to be of Destiny's junk, on his Twitter. Many people apparently feel that she's the villain of this story, for reasons which escape me.

Where's the reddit mob for that? I'm still waiting. Or yesterday's show where they publicly condemned Destiny's actions, thus telling 3000+ people what to think about the issue (a day before root lets him go)? Food for thought: if some of you people only care about tournament results, destiny and incontrol are basically even.

Hes like a mid-20's individual stuck in a high-school mindset (Grade 11, not quite grade 12 maturity). Its no good for any teams. Which is the main reason why if he doesn't 100% clean up his act and grow some balls, he's going to have to be like grubby and have his own team, because nobody else will even look at him. But then if he did start his own team, good luck getting any sponsors to help you out with your horrific reputation.
