Remeber those facts : - Deleting NaDa's history around SC:BW, when he transitioned into SC2, followed by a bunch of well-payed articles about him being greedy and following the money, when in reality SC2 was just starting to crawl its way up and there was hardly any money in it. At all. - Paying articles to critique SC2, stalling the introduction of the game in Korea by a lot. Also getting in that huge court-case vs Blizzard about intelectual property, which was later settled.
An now we're adding this shit. Please, if anyone still believes that KeSPA will allow their players to participate in GSL Season 5, please re-think. That will not happen. And you will see it rather shortly, when they screw up with MLG's group arrangements (MLG - KeSPA agreement on KeSPA players seeds). I am honestly so pissed at them, that even if what ESF did was a douche-baggery move, I would still side with them on this one and would not participate in the next OS2L.
No idea how Blizzard could fix this shit either. KeSPA just needs a really hard kick in the balls and it looks like they're gonig to get it. I just hope it hurts them enough to realize they can't boss people around and fuck with everyone else. WTF? Source?
Well Nada history was deleted. The Kespa had said that was technical issue, others claims that was intentionally.

I think that KeSPA will pull of that same shit again with after GSL 5, if not even at GSL 5. They just hope the ESF player will participate in the OSL, because the first season would be a a big failure with half the players pulled out, and they would get huge attention if it's the only place where you can watch ESF vs KeSPA players.(i think that's what they were trying to accomplish with that whole thing)
Maybe i am wrong but it looks like that to me. But i am glad if they prove me wrong and they get along in the future.

People still keep missing the point that KeSPA bought more time. Season 4 anyone?

I did indeed hear this was the case.
haha oh right i just remembered all the stuff kespa did to sc2 almost forgot. Wonder if we really see kespa players in the gsl qualifiers now though. I doubt it personally.

yea, too many people are thinking its fixed
this is just Kespa waiting till next season to go 'oops scheduling conflicts'
STAY STRONG ESF, dont play OSL till a Kespa player walks into the qualifiers.
They didn't want to work with GOM when GOM was willing to fix scheduling issues, and potentially give seeds/let them bypass the qualifiers. Kespa chose to play toughball

I read the English half since I can't read Korean. Kespa claims that Nada's missing records is due to a database error (conspiracy ).
How about the second half of the accusation that Kespa paid for articles to smear Nada? Is there a source on that?

THIS IS GREAT NEWS. Players are making a stand against KESPA so they don't pull the same **** as they did in BW.
|
God I remember when Kespa's pressure brought down the first GOM Starleague. I really hate Kespa and think GOM actually has the upper hand here. The GSL players actually have more value than the Kepsa players because they have proved themselves as the best SCII players, and we're yet to see that really from the Kespa players. This kind of gridlock may suck, but its a necessary move coming from GOM.
|
I do not get the importance of KeSPA.
So far, it is an organisation with a mostly code B and some Code A players. Maybe a few code S worthy.
Korean SC2 will hardly suffer, if at all, by the lack of KeSPA.
ESF is a player-team assosiation. Considering a lot of SC2 players are familar with the KeSpa, the ESF decision to fuck the KeSpa and not partisipate in OSL is perfectly understandable.
Not to mention, that since ESF doesn`t quite have the controll over their members, the ESF decision was a decision of teams and players.

Feels like Cold War all over again, both sides threat to throw that juicy atomic bomb on each other but both back way from the fear of mutual anihilation.

The problem isn't whether they have or don't have the best SC2 players, its whether GOM can keep local sponsors while KeSPA makes the transition to an SC2 only league. Both have been having issues with sponsors for a while and LoL has been taking off lately, so lets hope the scene doesn't kill itself with this adolescent hard balling.

kespa was once a big move to esport now its a big move out of global esport and a move to isolation and destroying the global faczination of esport ... seems the time of kespa is run out they just looks like a dino in 2100

I really don't like that this has to happen, but it's KeSPA's fault.
Typically witch hunts aren't my things, but I say that the peasantry needs to come out in full force for this one.
This is OUR game, KeSPA, not just yours. Love it or leave it.

KeSPA act as if someone pulled them out of Orwell's 1984. Now they either will convince GOM players to play in OSL anyway or fetch 8 lucky looser tickets to their players and act as if nothing really happened.
The coolest thing would be if the former KeSPA sponsors (Hwaesung, WeMade FOX) would move to GOM/SC2

I've notice you've posted many different things in this thread with conviction and i'm wondering, how does he know this? Why don't i know this? The name of the OGN representative ! And hence the problem when KeSPA reaches the SC2 board... No one knows anything and its just a bunch of nerd making shit up. Do you really think FXOboss is making shit up? I'm sure he knows more than you. FXOboss said that OGN and KeSPA have the same goals. The person im replying to claims that OGN is on the KeSPA board of directors. Theres a difference.

And I remember when gom decided to become blizzard's bitch and helped them destroy BW. Do you remember how they blackmailed KeSPA to give up ProLeague's primetime slots in favour of gsl simply because nobody wanted to watch that over ProLeague?
I'm siding with KeSPA because they stuck with BW until blizzard made it unsustainable. Screw blizzard and gom.
