They can't snipe them, they signed an agreement not allowing any of the sides to snipe players from the other side until October 2013.

OGN is television, OGN is simply a product, its like saying Microsoft deserves to be burned down because, their sales/resources affected their competitors.
OGN had a say in GSL boycott, so they're getting burned. It seems like they deserved it. Your analogy is way off.

Because KeSPA decision was tremendously moral.

that'd probably force ESF to reconsider boycotting pretty quickly It wouldn't. They don't plan on playing in the OSL already lol. They aren't going to try next season if kespa is still going to ban their players from playing in GSL. permaban, every single ESF team? i would think that OSL still has more prestige than GSL in korea and korean bw fans greatly outnumber korean sc2 fans. i think ESF has more to lose from getting banned from OSL.
korean bw scene is small compared with the foreign scene. Foreign scene will boycot KeSPA events/players.

Wrong, this is going to kill kespa!

Its a good move, means pressure will be coming from literally everywhere (even Kespa teams and players are confused as to why they can't participate in GSL) to get Kespa to allow players into GSL this season.

Man this sucks

Also it isn't like they have to actually listen to the agreement lol. An agreement like this if broken by KESPA only means the agreement is broken. Then, ESF can try to snipe KESPA players (lol). The agreement laws could be different in Korea, but typically if someone doesn't hold up their end of a bargain the other end doesn't have to be held up. In the end it is like shooting a bullet after the cease fire, shit starts up after that

Kespa IS the teams lol. So if kespa says we wont participate in gsl, thats the teams decision. See? It is easy to do the same on the other side, people are just choosing one side and arguing over it.
I agree with Talin on this one.
Plus, the fact that they are withdrawing from a league already on the go is even worse than say they wont participate in advance. Kespa didnt ruin shit, gsl can run as always. Esf let an ongoing league be crippled mid way.
This is my take on it and although most(all?) of you dont seem to agree, Im not going to change it just to be in line with you guys, sorry <3

Well, given the fact that there was a pretty strong BW fanbase, I don't know what could happen... It worries me a lot...

Its really cool to see the players supporting the league that built the SC2 scene. There are almost no examples I can think of in sports of anykind where the players throw their support behind a league like this. Props to them. Kespa is obviously posturing and trying to maneuver their way to the top after Gom set the stage, and Gom's treatment and policies of the scene and the players allows for the players to easily abandon their league, but because of the way Gom respects and treats the players, they support the league even though they arent obligated to. I support this move.

How can we as fans let KeSPa know that we want their players to be free? Do they have an English site? Or an email adres?
|
so, wait...MLG is parntered with kespa correct? and IPL is partnered with GOM?
.___________. do not want rival foreign leagues like this. or korean leagues. why the fuck can't everyone just be happy and work together, it's really not that hard....

ESF are the players, ESF is not GOM. ESF is made up by the players and coaches of multiple teams. They made the decision and Nestea announced it.
