He only made Stargate units to show them off. Against Terran Stargate play is really unlikely to be that prevalent. Blizzard definitely wants the Tempest to be the go-to unit against Zerg late-game though. The Mothership Core looks insane for Protoss though, it's so ridiculously versatile. | ||

I think the Tempest is kind of reasonably interesting if it's done correctly, having a kind of unique role as a really long range sniper, I'm thinking of it's potential to chip away at Brood balls and stuff. This seems to serve like the buffed Queen, but even more potent. 2. Oracle was a cool idea, I get what they were thinking and I like some of its utility (i.e the cloaking field thing). It's role as a harassment unit just doesn't really mesh with me though, it's the equivalent of injecting for Zergs, nothing interesting or strategically interesting 3. New Terran mech is, retarded. Protoss' old compositions of choice in dealing with mech, i.e upgraded chargelots and immortals, with archons just melts, absolutely melts. There is no positional nuance to it either, part of the beauty and challenge of well executed mech. Fucking hell. | ||
