Exactly. However, this is a start. The Raven is so freaking hard to use. I spent hundreds of games playing monobattles with the Raven to micro, multi-cast and mess around with raven hotkeys. In the end, I still am god awful with Ravens even as a Rank 1 master terran. Hopefully this will make them at least, marginally easier to use.

With that said, I think the biggest change that must be made is:
Allow Ravens to cast while being fungaled

the creep nerf is ridiculous.
these guys from Blizzard are watching 2 months old VODs to assume the game is not balanced at the highest level. seriously, just watch the last 2 weeks of korean pro TvZ and don't fu***** nerf zerg.
Part of the inhumanity of the computer is that, once it is competently programmed and working smoothly, it is completely honest.

I like that these changes, but more importantly I like the transparancy on Blizzard's part and the custom map. Really quite a swing from how the Queen change was introduced.

agree about creep spread. I've pushed out at 9-10 mins before only to find a creep highway thats already just below my natural ramp..... although this meant that the zerg had let other things go by the wayside, 4 queens pooping out tumors takes A LOT of scans to deal with lol.

Raven change might also encourage earlier ravens to deal with creep spread.
When there is nothing left to lose but your dignity, it is already gone.

The creep mechanic was born with the idea that it would need a nerf when players will get good enough at it.

Kind of wish they'd just revert the change. Don't get me wrong, these buffs are probably nice(I doubt the raven one will really matter for TvZ though), but I just feel like they are shooting in the dark, searching for a fix to something that was never broken before they "fixed it" the last time :/ I mean the 5 range queen went through, so it's kind of hard to imagine that these changes wouldn't go through, no matter how good/bad they might be.

It will, on maps like Cloud Kingdom terran will actually be able to land a well timed fourth base before creep gets there, example being DRG vs MKP where MKP couldn't land his fourth as DRG already had creep there.

Not a huge difference, but it's still something.

Currently, infestors are cheaper than Ravens, take less time to build, have upgrades that take less time to research and are cheaper, are faster, can use fungal immediately when made, and have fungal which is more range than hsm.

Oh yea, not to mention they can burrow, many can be built at once, and they are good against all unit compositions in the game.

I support anything that gets TDA the hell off the ladder. Since Zergs will probably whine that creep tumors barely barely reach up ramps now, TDA could possibly be removed and that makes me so very happy.

Thor Strike Cannons.
They gave a pretty detailed and well reasoned explanation for both the initial change and rollback too.

I think multiple queens is not a problem. The point of multiple queens (and queen range) was to give Zerg earlier defense and indirectly a way to prevent hellions from completely shutting down creep spread. The indirect buff is that hellions don't deny creep spread and Zerg has a bunch of Queens to spread creep with.

The original problem has been solved (early defense against Stalker kiting, hellions, ect) so now they're toning down creep tumors. This seems much better than reverting queen range and literally resetting the state of Zerg to a few months ago (well I guess they'd still have the overlord buff).

Seeker missile cost or cast range appear to be secondary factors

Yep, you have really understood the problem with the raven..... NOT!

All the used damaging abilities have a casting range of 9. That means every spell except HSM. Now take a wild guess, why HSM is NOT used as much?
