Even if the truth is now revealed, the imagined truths will still be in everyones mind. An example of this would be, lets say you are charged with being a child molestor and the trial goes for months and months and many stories are fabricated about you, but in the end you are found not guilty. People would still view you as a child molestor, however if the same day that you were accused you were shown to be innocent without a doubt you would not be viewed in this light. I think I thought of this case because of the recent news.
But there is nothing to be explained. MMA wasn't accused of anything. We know everything we should know; he was demoted due to disciplinary reasons and he didn't accept it. What more do we have to know? If you the conflict is not resolved than there is nothing to talk about.
No professional sports team in the world would bench a top player and kick him out their living space without some sort of minor press release. The speculation is far worse than simply saying "This is what happened. This is our only comment, thanks".
The article on TiG is a minor release (it has SlayerS press material in it) and in my opinion it stated everything we need to know and now we have wait for the resolution of this problem. We have no right to demand that we get informed about the things MMA has done to get disciplinary action, so we shouldn't expect it.
The summary was reasonable, but did not give the reason for his demotion as far as I can tell. They cannot be suprised by questions if they make a press release that says "We demoted this player for reasons we will keep to ourselves. He did not agree with it, so he moved out of the team house."
I dont feel the need to know why he was demoted. I am not demanding or expecting the reasoning. However, I will say that it was not very good PR to talk about the demotion and not provide any details as to why it took place. Fans and media are going to fill in that information gap with whatever information they can dig up, correct or not.
Looking back in hindsight it would've been best if they didn't release any information at all and just let the whole ordeal stay on the down-low and within the team only. I'm not sure what they gain by putting this out there especially when it's turning up mass amounts of speculation.
Think about the shit that slayers would have gotten if , lets say the whole thing surfaced in 6 weeks. It's not like kicking a player out of the teamhouse is not gonna get leaked.
Too bad his interview didn't say anything - but his dodging of the question means that MMA and Slayers are keeping it behind closed doors - which is the best for them - but not the best for drama loving fans!
Last time I read huge thread about SlayerS on TL, was back when Dragon and Golden left the team.. This time, I think the reason this thread exists is the same (MMA wanting to leave SlayerS). I don't know whether he did something that made SlayerS furious, just to have an excuse for leaving or if it's the other way around but I'm pretty sure that he will eventually leave the team.

Slayers is seeming less and less like a family now
he was also the heartbeat of their second gstl win^^
two times mvp of gstl
So he's allowed to do whatever he wants? What if he has been unbearable lately because it all went to his head? Might not be the case, but just something to think about.
SlayerS is disciplining MMA because he wants to leave SlayerS and join a foreign team before his contract is up. It's not a coincidence that this happened right after he came back from IPL. With Complexity already confirming that MMA has been looking to join a foreign team for a long time now, I don't think there's anything else it could be.
The grass isn't always greener on the other side.... I just wish the Korean players jumping ship would understand this.
MMA told Boxer/Jessica that he wanted to leave the team and join a foreign team.
Boxer/Jessica feel that having their star player do that, the player they put Boxer's reputation behind, would be very harmful to the Slayers brand and to Boxers reputation as a team leader. They probably feel that MMA owes them, because they took him from a no-name to being a huge SC2 star. MMA leaving hurts Slayers and Boxer..... and that makes them angry.... hence the seemingly vindictive punishment and press release.
Slayers knows they will lose MMA, so they want to tighten things up with other players, so they punish MMA harshly for his disloyalty so as to discourage their other players from also exploring the opportunity to leave. They force MMA out of the house and hold his contract while making it clear he is not to speak about this to anyone.
Slayer is probably trying to get some money for his transfer, while they wait it out.
Its understandable that Slayers would be hurt by their star wanting to leave, but I really think they've gone too far and shown themselves to be too reactionary and too draconian. Its natural to be hurt when someone you've invested in wants to move on, but they are free human beings and they have that right. There is no need to make it ugly like they have. They should have remained professional and quietly moved on thanking MMA for all his efforts. That would have been the "professional" thing to do.
TL:DR My guess is MMA's only crime was wanting to leave Slayers and that's why Slayers won't say the reason for the punishment.
It's pretty obvious now that the internal issues involves management since none of his teammates seem to be faulting him and even the A-teamers would practice with him for his matches.
I'm not sure who are all the coaches and team managers for SlayerS but since the incident and with the information provided on twitter and through interview, we can conclude this is definitely a problem between him and management.
From my guess, the issue itself might not involve any of the managers personally (Boxer, Cella, Jessica) but the decision to remove him from the house and demote him definitely involves Jessica. Why? Let's face it, can you imagine Boxer or Cella being someone who would make this kind of drastic change if the incident didn't involve cheating or fraud in game? Jessica has always been the one making the shots and calls. This is pretty normal as well since Jessica and Boxer are the owners of the team but Boxer always listens to his wife just like any other husband would (if you are married, you know what I'm talking about).
Another thing that supports this is that Jessica hasn't tweeted anything about MMA ever since the incident. Normally, she is open to discuss with the rest of the world with what's going on with her team but this time around, she's dead quiet.
tl;dr
MMA probably has some internal conflict with how things are run (practice regiment, sending him to other tournaments etc) or he just wants a change. The SlayerS management don't agree with him and seeing as how Jessica views everyone on her team as her "child" (which is just plain crazy if you ask me, but maybe this is natural in Korean culture), she takes this personally and wants him out of the house.
imho, I don't think you should be emotionally attached to your players like how Jessica is. I'm pretty sure not everyone wants to be her "son". This not only hurts her but the players if a conflict happens. A player wanting to change teams is very common in this industry, being emotionally attached would only end badly if that player wants to switch teams.

Of course it's only speculation, but if I had to guess I would guess the same thing. Especially considering what crazy shit Jessica pulled of in the past.

source?
his ass. Check the post history in this thread and all there comes out is that Slayers somehow hates MMA and wants him to feel bad and do anything possible. People also seem to forget that before there has been normal leaves/transfers from slayers but only if they are honest. for instance saying you going to quit progaming to then join a foreign team is not the way to go and warrants some backfire.
