Please stop with the jokes/posts that speculate something sexual or scandalous is at play here. They do not contribute to discussion and are generally of very poor taste. |

I just lost a lot of respect for the SlayerS organization.
Seriously ? You know what happened ? Tell us !

actually punishing someone when they are down is fair. Do you think your boss will just look at your glory days if you did terribly recently on sales or whatever? No, you'll get bitch at

For all the kind and smart people out there who pulls jokes about MMA doing this or that. GO watch some Big Brother instead. That is your level.

Hmm, well MMA's TvP got better apparently. His TvZ is still top 3 in the world (though that counts for less w/ Queen buff effect), and his TvT is still above average. I think we can safely say that its not a gameplay issue that got him in trouble.

The demotion was executed due to disciplinary action and not due to bad performance.

Cripes...I was upset that Hero lost to him but I didn't want this to happen to him. x.x I hope he'll be okay, whatever is going on...

i predict mma and crank to leave slayers

He was underperforming (for his usually world top class level) lately, and some kind of internal measure to shake him up might have been actually a great decision for his mentality and desire to win. If the whole story has any truth, that is.
I'm optimistic that he'll stay with SlayerS though, and if something like that happened, it was just a move to strengthen his character. SlayerS is like a big Korean family, and we know Korean parents are very loving and very harsh, simultaneously.

Slayers should have given an official statement by now. With this much time elapsed it becomes worse and worse as imaginations start to run wild. Even if the truth is now revealed, the imagined truths will still be in everyones mind. An example of this would be, lets say you are charged with being a child molestor and the trial goes for months and months and many stories are fabricated about you, but in the end you are found not guilty. People would still view you as a child molestor, however if the same day that you were accused you were shown to be innocent without a doubt you would not be viewed in this light. I think I thought of this case because of the recent news.
|
Maybe they don't want to publicly expose something for MMA that they felt was important enough to discipline him for? I mean sure it sucks and all, but it's not like we are entitled to knowing what happened here. They had to publicly explain why he wasn't in the team house but they certainly don't have to explain what he's in trouble for.

We know everything we should know; he was demoted due to disciplinary reasons and he didn't accept it. What more do we have to know? If you the conflict is not resolved than there is nothing to talk about.

They said its internal stuff and people should honestly take enough with that instead of speculating over dumb stuff.

No professional sports team in the world would bench a top player and kick him out their living space without some sort of minor press release. The speculation is far worse than simply saying "This is what happened. This is our only comment, thanks".

I hope MMA finds a foreign team soon that fully supports this disciplined and intelligent player. Don't know the story behind this, but until I do, I side 100% with MMA.

The article on TiG is a minor release (it has SlayerS press material in it) and in my opinion it stated everything we need to know and now we have wait for the resolution of this problem. We have no right to demand that we get informed about the things MMA has done to get disciplinary action, so we shouldn't expect it.

it's news, so what? I personally couldn't give a crap about this, but SlayerS should know that if they're not willing to share information people will just invent stories.
Although the sexual ones are really inappropriate. But still, it's unreasonable to expect all of the SC2 viewing community to take a reasonable and respectful stance - so SlayerS should proactively announce why.
