To the people whining about how their race is gonna suck etc. Do it like I do it, play random for a couple of months/the beta and then decide which race you like the most I'm definitely not able to stick with my race(protoss if that matters) when there are so many new exciting changes for all races :D

Actually I like what they did there - the skill ceiling just got so much higher... It will be hard to play this game without any practice in WoL. I wonder how it will affect lower leagues?
Great demos. The only time I didn't like Day9 talking though - I understand the need but it is extremely stiff...

looked like it was truly auto targeting. pretty lame.

Not gonna lie i will play zerg in HOTS . Terran was nice in WOL , but zerg is gonna be the shit in HOTS . I personally have no idea how they are gonna balance HOTS . Protoss seems by far the weakest .

Looking good so far. Looks good for both races that I can play, and looked pretty good for the one I don't as well. So good.

Really liked some of the UI changes though, and I like how creep stands out less on the minimap.

Edit: It's really looking like all this will also make some of the impressive micro tricks we're used to from Brood War more likely to pop up in SC2. Well, I'm excited now.

It goes after mech units and can't attack BIO. So it only attacks units it can hurt. That is sort of like auto targeting.

It's not the same... I didn't realize how strong Swarms Hosts are until I saw them in a "realistic" battle.

Kennigit said that they put missiles to auto-attack other mech units (ground or air), but it's still beta so they might remove that. It's not so different from a-moving though.

Zerg change look awesome, protoss look nice ( except tempest over carrier, i just feel that the carrier looks way better), but concerning the terrans so far... it looks like they are not adding micro potential to the race ( battle hellions are not microable, this warhound seems very bad).. overall it looks like they're trying to make terrans much more a-move friendly :s.
I guess we'll see, i hope i'll get a beta though!

Imagine if they removed stuff like automining...drool. There seems to be a lot more potential for micro during engagements for all races, people say "so and so" looks dumb when that unit is put in a specific situation to showcase how strong it can be. Let the ultralisk do that charge and kill 500 minerals of marines before instantly being nuked down by marauders and tanks. Let vipers pull in equal cost colossi, then a warp prism swings around and feedbacks the group of them. There is a ton of potential for more long-term engagements, more microable engagements, etc. I think templar will take a lot of precedence over colossi too in PvZ, since they'll have the feedback option + mass hydra will be pretty strong with their current movespeed. So the colossi complainers may be pleased by that.

But they may be going in the complete opposite direction with the "how many workers are at your base" thing. I imagine tournaments will have some kind of mode where they can turn newb-friendly shit like that off.

don't really like tempest i dont think ,22 range is interesting but do vikings counter it or no? wtf lol it looks like even more a-movey of a unit than colossus since it attacks both air and ground

mothership core is interesting, idka bout it

widow mines attack air and ground, interesting! timer is interesting!

battle hellions nice

warhound still looks yucky but the missiles are pretty bad ass

i guess theres no long range missile thingy anymore, or is that the warhound? (doesnt look so long range... warhound's 2 attacks can go on at the same time?)


also, glad that mothership is still in! they need that haha

good to see that carrier is still being debated! as always im confident blizz will figure it out
