Because of the potential consequences, we should be careful about accepting unproven accusations. The principle of 'innocent until proven guilty' should be applied here. That does not mean that there has been a conclusion about this case, however, which is why this thread remains tentatively open. Please discuss with caution and use evidence to back up your claims. Even with scans, the scan hits a fog of war area first, then the vision pops there. Whereas normally you would look at the map where you want to scan, then drop it, as he does in countless other games from his ladder pack.

Maybe this is the case here? Here is how it works, for that popular maphack anyways. 1) You click your button or whatever to activate camera lock. 2) Your camera locks. 3) You do anything at all, your camera jumps back to what you were looking at previously. From the configuration file of the maphack: ; Default: VK_F8 (119) ; 默认 F8 锁定视角 Hotkey_Camera_Lock=119 So it has to be activated. Let me test real quick to see if it even prevents you from going into fog of war normally without activating camera lock... trying to find a setting that would disable or enable it and I'm not seeing any so I'm assuming the default setting is the only one in that regard.

If you take a look to the north of where he does the "three narrow clicks", you will see he comes down clicking three times before that in a curve. There's just no way he would scroll over there (from the right) and then continue scrolling south along those clicks. I'll even post an image. + Show Spoiler + Trivia about this image: when I uploaded it to tinypic I had to perform a captcha with the text "Ace of Spades" :D If I was religious I might have thought it was a sign that he's innocent. ![]() I would be much more interested to see the Shattered Temple game vs Lucifron be looked at. There it looks as if he's scrolling to the right, towards Lucifron's main, but suddenly stops for some reason before the click in Lucifron's main happens. It seems weird that he just doesn't keep scrolling into the main and click, but not impossible (edit: definitely reasonable doubt). The game on daybreak however was obviously legit (if you saw all the clicks, which I didn't the first time around). edit again: the game was legit so far as those clicks are concerned. The rest I don't know for sure. Also, earlier I would've liked the game vs Theognis on Entombed Valley be looked at, but after a second look (I posted my thought about it somewhere in this thread) I realized there actually was information to support his movements in the middle. Is there anywhere we can read about each game, and whether or not there have been sufficient information/explanations to support Spades' actions in the game? And of course I only mean stuff that looks really shady (such as the above mentioned movement on Entombed, but like I said: Spades' actually had information to support his decisions there) and not circumstantial stuff such as choice of build-orders. And I guess a list of when Spades actually looks at the fog of war during these games, because I know he does that at least a few times, and if it's directly connected to a unit command or not. I've personally lost track of all the stuff people have posted recently, and I've probably missed several questions and replies to my previous posts.

Compare/contrast with games from the IPL5 qual and games from the showmatch. I just watched this and you can see : "screen freezes" , moments when he doesn't even check what he scouts initialy, "the wierd camera movments" , the magical "out of screen clicks". By the way what i just posted above is t make fun : - "screen freezes" = you can see moments in later games when his screen doesn't move at all because he selects his army or does other stuff in that exact place. In all the games he was acused if you watch he does something in that screen. - "moments when he doesn't even check what he scouts initialy" - 1:25:00 watch it ... i haven't checked all of it just a little to find proof -you can see it a lot in his fights that he uses the arrow keys to move the screen ( i still want cookies) - "the magical out of screen clicks" at like 1:16:20 you can see him "freeze his screen" while useing hotkeys and then move clicking his army on the MINIMAP. I just watched like 10 min of that stream jumping around but i am not a smart person and could someone post what else he was accused of ?

It's actually ridiculously easy to know he was hacking in some of those games. Something I'm not sure many people have done is cross reference the games where he's allegedly hacking(recent showmatch and ladder games that people have posted) vs games where we know 100% he wasn't hacking. (MLG open bracket replays, IPL3/4 open bracket replays) I have 15 or so clean spades reps saved from these events and games I've played against him where he was streaming and clearly not hacking. One of the first things I did was compare those games vs the "hacking games" and it was comical. it's quite easy to tell when camera lock action and hacks are in full gear and when they are not. I don't really understand how people think we don't have enough proof to label him guilty. Please anyone who still has any doubt just sit down and review the actual material instead of spending so much time arguing/questioning. There's a reason why basically all high level players who have taken the time to sit down and objectively review these replays says he's guilty. there's a reason this thread is nearly 300 pages. There's a reason a whole bunch of players have been suspicious of Spades for a while now and how quickly so much material surfaced after this thread was posted. Would you mind making your case then please? Provide the replays, point out the points to make. Us underlings want to understand and where to find it. If your prepping for MLG then please do practice instead this drama is not worthy to not be prepared because of it . ---------------------------------- All I've seen from "pros" so far was more or less these 8 lines of "blabla its my opinion, maybe, many small stuff, etc", in this category guys like Idra, Incontrol, Illusion, lot of lesser known NA players etc. Some have tried to judge and were debunked, Catz, TT1, Destiny. Only one has retracted and apologized after debunk, props to him. Maybe the NA scene is not qualified to play judge on this case, appearing to be really really too paranoid about hackers at this point in time. EU or better even KR authorities should be better suited then to be analysing - but i fear they have better things to do.

I know of a place to see maphacks in action, although I don't think there were camera locks. In the thread about the Hacker Impa, someone posted a link where this guy was streaming himself while using map-hacks. These games are archived and can be streamed as VODs. Quite eye-opening stuff.

I'm sorry bud but back in 2010 when I was 2nd in lead of elevengaming (xiNizzy) and when we had to play VT, you were our "joke" guy. We were short one clan match and had our team manager match you one day (Zerg) and because we knew you never attacked Zergs (from xiLost playing vs you a lot on ladder) and just turtled we made him do a strat just vs you, and he beat you. Our Manager. This was in late 2010/early 2011 when you could still be considered good. I feel really bad for the person that spent money on you to go to Korea. Why anyone would market a team around you as the leader is beyond me. I don't play this game anymore so this could be an unfair comment, however from a NA Fan's perspective you've always been terrible compared to other top NA players. You don't go from being bad -> dropping out of pro gaming team -> moving to flordia to live with parents again (alone with no in person practice partners) -> rank 1 GM next season. With better winning percents than Select & Thorzain. Are you kidding me? Please lol. Just admit you hacked, get permed, and go work at a deli shop/play poker or whatever you want. Just let it go man. Play for fun, because you can't make it as a pro anymore, its not cause you hacked, its because your simply not good enough. IF you're smart you'll realize that's not an insult but legit advice. If you're a former BW pro and aren't top 5 in NA by now after 2 years of playing the game, then you'll never be able to take games/events off Korean pros like a HuK/Illusion can. take care Spades. My favorite post in the thread.

That said, if I'm correct, the consensus is that Spades never looked into the fog of war in his series against Lucifron. If this is correct, what is this? http://i.imgur.com/u0Sft.jpg It seems unthinkable, but it looks to me like he's looking into the fog of war and his medivac does not have any vision of his screen. I know it's possible to implement a command to take off the screen lock, but is this news for anyone else or am I just an idiot? Oh sorry missed this one ... what is that red dot ? ... why does he have a medicvac selected with marines ... maybe he wants to do a drop ... neah impossible !!!! ![]()

Although I think this was debunked a while ago, we were led to believe that you can't perform any unit actions without losing your camera lock and then the following evidence was that he was definitely using camera lock because he was performing actions on the real map! Just too funny. He might be guilty, but this whole thread has been InfoWars quality.

On a completely separate note, he could make a bunch of money from twitch if he went on a big stream session, hacking or just playing regular games. People would tune in just to yell at him and tease him.... but hey they would still be watching that ad!
