Taking a break for a week to bank some bonus points to buffer the stupid ladder system. Once you start matching to favoured and slightly favoured, the points gained and points lost starts to bounce around a lot, often not to my benefit.

Now I'm in the bottom 1/3 of masters haha. @Grimmyman123: I'm pretty sure that the favoured depends on adjusted points, meaning it ignores spent bonus pool. No reason to take a week off.

@Grimmyman123 Taking a week off wouldn't have any effect. The system is based off of something we call "adjusted points". Basically it's your total points minus your spent bonus pool. So, if you have 500 points today, and have spent 250 bonus pool, your adjusted points would be 250. Fast forward a week, and your adjusted points will still be 250 because you have neither gained points nor spent any bonus pool. @MysteryMeat1 I would encourage you to open up the settings panel and enable the memory reader. What's happening here is that you're not getting "good" games. By which I mean the plugin isn't gathering enough information to make an accurate calculation. By enabling the memory reader, the program can pull what it needs directly out of memory rather than relying on the website.

BAsically I am fed up with blizz and the MMR and points and ladder. I dont play so I can get some buffer in a bonus points pool.

This especially comes true if by some chance I lose when I am "favoured" and playing against someone of equal league rank poiints as myself, and end up losing for wahtever reason. BAsically I am fed up with blizz and the MMR and points and ladder. I dont play so I can get some buffer in a bonus points pool. This is because you're losing more than you're winning. It has nothing to do with the point values. By buffering your bonus pool, all you're doing is giving yourself points. It's not effecting your win/loss and it's certainly not affecting your MMR. But if seeing your points go up more makes you happy, all the power to you.

Infcereal i have a question, my MMR increased by 200 while i wasn't playing. Is this because it has been adjusted while more and more games are played by other or is just something weird ? (Different league "requirements" had also increased, and at the end i am on the same place, so i guess it was about getting a bigger pool to draw the overall MMR ?) Sorry for my english.

Blizzard changed the league offsets for this season. Thus on 2013-01-15 offsets were updated for the MMR tool (many were increased). As promotion lines for this and couple of last seasons have been set based on the offsets (except gm), you can check how much they were changed by comparing the current lines to the ones in the archive. I should probably recheck some of the offsets soon as more data has been received. E.g. more data regarding master-gm offset...

Last game on this chart is Diamond promotion, might give hope to other people and show to have faith in the program ![]() Congrats on the promo. I wish I had a win/loss that consistent. I go on 20 game win streaks followed by 20 game loss streaks rather than 1 win, 1 loss.

After the release of HotS the tool will be updated to support HotS (possibly only HotS for several reasons (e.g. there won't be enough data to calculate offsets for WoL if they are changed as most of the users will likely switch to HotS), but not yet decided). (As a side note regarding current offsets I did a quick check yesterday. Master-gm offset is likely little higher (note that offset _does not mean_ promotion line - the promotion line for gm in the tool is only rough static presentation - the true line is dynamic). For lower leagues there is still low amount of data. Thus I will not fine tune the offsets yet):

I'm currently 0/17 in data so my pre-graph looks like this ![]() Will a 100% game be guaranteed when the guess crosses the bronze line? I've also heard about a concept called minimum division MMR. If this is likely causing a lack of 100% games (most of my games are 75/75) then what is the required MMR to show results (I'm bronze if that helps). Or is it affected by adjusted points?

If I don't flag as bad will I just see another spike back up with more games played?
