i think they should also have a talk about the 4 sentry warp prism 2 base pressure its insanely strong and i ahve been facing its alot now after many protoss have been doing on gsl and mlg and also ipl if ur at the nat ready to defend he will force field out of your main for a good 1:30sec-2mins also if your at the main to defend he will trap you in your main and ur nat is forfeit i mean come on wth is this?

Oh here goes the myth that "Terran is imbalanced early/mid game PvT". Please show me the imbalances in the match up at these times where it makes the matchup INCREDIBLY difficult for Protoss? Please don't say being able to put on pressure so that Terran can secure a 3rd......thats not imbalance.

Its especially funny when you think about the quick 3 nexus parting build. The protoss takes a quick 3rd, gets ahead in econ, and puts on pressure with mass gates forcing the terran to remain bunkered up on 2 base.. Protoss is not that weak early or mid, terran is not that strong early or mid.

If you even look at his replays you would know he is extremely vulnureable when he gets that 3rd nexus up because he is also getting his 8-10 gates up at the same time. Try pressuring, works wonders.

Give me a build that pressures and kills forcefield Protoss when you have 3 rax (1tech2naked) off a 1rax expand, that is also capable of killing Protoss?

1... 1 fucking warp in cycle kills 3-4 minutes of Terran production. The build time difference between gates and Rax for the first set of units may very well be one to one and half a minute.

Only thing I strongly disagree with is the Queen energy, kills depth of strategy (sacking larvea for a tumor first queen) and is just lazy to let zergs get that much more creep spread quicker. Other changes i really don't think will make a big difference in how the game is played and am completely fine with.

I'm still waiting for my Tank buff. Tanks are pathetic in numbers < 25. That helps lategame.

It would also be nice if our 'air superiority unit' didnt lose 2v1 with Corruptors, whom are easier to produce and have an ability that actually is usefull.

Then Protoss players would be lying to themselves cause Protoss are super-strong during every phase of the game, though getting extremely imbalanced in the late-game. Protoss have the most ridiculous one base and two base timings in the game.

What are you talking about? T has like 2, maybe 3 viable openings. P has about 10 different allins they can do, as well as massive choice for macro openings.


Please list the 10 and then I will list 4 viable terran openings (that are hard to scout).

15n > 2-3 collosus + 3-5 gates of production
15n > 3 immortal push
1gate double FE > 8 gate "all in"
3gate star
3gate robo bust
4g warp prism
straight up balls to the walls 10g > 4gate
1 base collosus

there's a lot. terran probably has more but i think the posters point still stands. there are a lot of very strong builds protoss can do in the early-mid game, a lot of them i have to keep in the back of my mind at all times as a terran player. Note how all of these all ins involve a robotics , except for the pure gateway and stargate all ins. If i scan your main and see a robo + gateways, i really don't have any idea of whats going on because that could mean 4 observers + crazy macro play, or any of the above all ins ^.^

I'll say it once. Look up the stats yoursellf. They have been posted multiple times. Terran usually wins in PvT within the first 16 mins, if the game goes beyond that Protoss usually wins. Statistics show that Terrans win something like 70% of games that go 16mins long and Protoss win like 75% of games that go later than that in PvT. Only conclusion you can draw from that is that Terran is favored early/mid game and Protoss is favored late game.



These stats honestly don't say anything. You know what A LOT of these mid game wins mean? Did this all-in work or not. Besides that, those stats are 3 months old......a whole lot has changed since then.

I agree with the overlord change but still I can see the overlord still getting killed on the way into a terran or protoss's base so it doesn't really help all that much IMO. The Queen change is interesting it does help a bit like I can block off my ramp with 2 queens and transfuse and all that so it has good stuff for ZvZ and ZvT so im all for that. Obs change sounds like its mainly for vT or vP so I wouldn't really care.

LOL how I wish vikings lost to corruptors when there were twice as many vikings. Holy shit late game ZvT would be a breeze...

To be fair any good Zerg player right now can handle Stargate aggression insanely easily as is, this change will just make bad players able to deflect it much easier.

It will be easier to scout, you'll have more creep, and if you build any queens during the attack they will pop out with a transfuse, I'd say that's pretty decent. The build loses a lot of it's power when scouted, and it's not currently wrecking the meta game right now.

If you consider every hellion opening becoming ineffective at what it is supposed to do (and thus useless, thus nerfed) and any agression will have to be on creep / sacrifice 2 more scans. They do "just win". The numbers still show higher win percentages for Terran in short games, and overall winrates have only evened out recently as players became more experienced at identifying and defending against early all-ins.

Overlord speed is fine not really big of a deal effects maybe the sacrifice overlord in zvp

Queen 50 energy. Look at high level Zergs how they spread creep right now. It´s ridiculesly strong and too much, maybe it would be better to increase the creep range of the hatches.

The Observer change makes me very angry. Srsly it´s like the Upgrade changes Blizzard is saying "well some koreans build more than one observer and have great success with it (i think Parting was it who have 6 - 8 Observers at the same time). But the average Protoss is just too stupid to build more than one so we have to buff them". I don´t see any reason for this and it´s a hidden terran nurf (again!) because cloak banshee will get weaker (and dt´s too).

It's not 2v1, but corruptors beat Vikings hardcore and the higher the upgrades, the worse the fight. Vikings ate harder to mass so, imo, should at least trade kind of equal.

Also, yes. Tanks are fucking pathetic.

It takes 5 shots to kill a zealot, 11 to kill and archon. 11 to kill and ultralisk.
For a ground 'superiority'unit, needing to be with 22 + walls/meatshields to hold off ultralisks/archons is not really 'superiority'.

Also, Terran is the only race without no supply costing defense for minerallines, except for PF, which doesn't stretch to the end of the mineral line. being able to waste 2 tanks and know they'll be effective is worth a lot.

Creep spreads faster if there are more tumors. If you put down two tumors intially, the creep spreads out faster than if it was just one. So it's not just a cycle ahead, because the creep actually gets OUT faster each time if you're doing two at a time.

You are limited by the creep tumor cooldown. Look at the two screenshots and realize the TRUTH, and not your imagination.


How about you realize the "TRUTH" that it's not just the cooldown, and that creep literally SPREADS faster. Like, the actual, physical creep, moves more in less time. It's too good.
