I guess Kaku put his foot in his mouth, but Bonk? He was trying to get Kaku to stop, and made it pretty clear that he didn't share the same views..Did you honestly even watch the video?
@ Dommk - Bonk just seems young and really not up to date with current trends/ styles. Some of his comments stupify me. He needs to improve also, but he caused no disrespect from what i heard.
You need to include more information in your OP and posts man, if I wasn't bored enough to watch the vod at 4.01 to 4.11, I wouldn't know what had happened.

I'm at work so can't watch the VOD, Could someone please summarize what has happened? Nvm found it out!

But its true.
Using a smurf account, Seo Yeon Ji, Dragon participated in various online tournaments. In particular, he participated in A1 KotH where he finished 1st in September 2010’s overall ranking. Based on this result, he was invited to play in A1 Starcraft2 Tournament #2 which invited top 6 players from KotH and 2 other players.
In the first round of the tournament, he played against TheStC and won. Soon after the match, TheStC wrote in PlayXP that “Seo Yeon Ji used absurd counter build order without scouting. I know that Seo Yeon Ji is MioWerra’s smurf account and MioWerra has been doing stream-cheating online.”[8]
After speaking with TheStC and members of WeRRa, Dragon publicly apologized to TheStC, members of oGs and WeRRa. After Dragon was accused of maphacking, streamcheating and match fixing on PlayXP-forums[9], he then replied that "he was sorry for what he had done" but didn't go into detail which parts of the allegations were true. Furthermore he stated that he would “never dream of other tournaments, televised matches, or pursue a career as a pro-gamer.”[10]

To me it sounds like Katu has a tung-rod making him unable to pronounce words correctly and splutter noticably. However Katu is not the only one who sounds like his tounge is numb but there's atleast a couple more lesser known casters out there with the same problem. Maybe i'm the only one noticing this though
|
yeah like people are saying, bonk was trying to distance himself from all the bullshit katu was spewing out. not fair to lump him in with the infuriatingly unprofessional remarks that katu and katu alone was responsible for. disgraceful

Where is the proof that Dragon is a known stream cheater ? I don't get why people say he has been stream cheating, and still have no proof of this ?
I'd like to see some proof, that he cheats. From the streamers pov, he makes it sound, like this is a knows issue with dragon, so there shouldn't be any problem providing proof.

Basically Katu tells everyone that Dragon is a cheater and is currently stream cheating in the Playhem daily, then incites anger from chat when Bonk tries to shut him up. Playhem posts on TL that Katu was just trolling, even though its obvious he wasn't.
Ive said it other places, I won't watch anything Katu casts. He does the same thing in the KSL, as well as spamming ads.

If the quotes are true, Playhem should give Katu a break for at least a period of time and make him think about what he said. It doesn't matter if its true, but accusing a player of currently cheating is just.. no. You can't do that.
If they back him up without taking any action, I think boycotting him is a good choice.

"one caster named Katu andBonk completely disrespected the terran player DRAGON in the competition today"
Right...
"Unprofessional, disrespectful, rude and pretentious. These are just some of the words I would use to describe to casters from Playhem TV"
Tell me exactly how Bonk fits that description? I'm all ears

So fucking what? I like this reaction, so i know there is a human being commentating not a robot. Playhem is also scheduled every day * 2! Off course it has different atmosphere than some tournaments that happen once a year or something like that.
Also - KATU WAS TROLLING BECAUSE OF THE CHAT COMMENTS - as far as i understood what was happening. I don't really see anything wrong with his casting, he has a right to talk trash, if he goes to far eventually he will lose his audience... I really think you are overreacting about what he was saying.

Guys check out their PlayhemTV stance in this thead link
Apparently he said all those things to piss off chat for criticizing him earlier.....lol...........

Incorrect, baseless, slander.

That was then, now Dragon was streaming his play in the tournament and people could see him lagging on stream while the caster was just mocking them.

I think Bonk has nothing to do with it, but Katu didn't just "troll" or put his "foot in his mouth". He fucked up badly and he should face the consequences for it. his unapologetic behavior actually irritates me the most. Playhem is obivously free to continue as they please, but as long as this clown works there I will abstain from their stream.
Dragon earned his second chance, Katu did nothing to earn one. That's not a double standard, that is accepting a sincere apology and effort to build trust again.

well, in their defence, dragon has stream cheated before. im watching it now to see what they say, but its only playhem, i dont expect shit from them anyway

Yea he was just trolling guys doesn't matter what he said because it was all trolling.... Come on how clueless can you be? Doesn't matter if you don't mean what you say it still effects people because you said it. It disgusts me how quick people are to shun responsibility. Is everyone on TL a teenager?

I think Katu (or whomever he is) should get a slap in the face, for being so aggressive to the players, as the players are pretty much what gets him these jobs. You should never bash on a player. Period. Especially when you don't have your facts right
