man tears me apart knowing that we tried so hard, we gave good criticism to blizzard but nearly all our efforts are for naught because they just ignore. then our cries just slowly fade away and blizzard wins. bnet 2.0 is a joke, don't let blizzard forget baby!
Where is the clan function!! +1 the UI needs a huge improvement. Also topic should be changed to "UI still sub-par 2 years later. Why doesn't blizzard care?"
Blizzard is putting all their resources into creating their next cash cow. If they ever change bnet's interface it will either come with an expansion or after all expansions are released. They don't want to put in the work right now.
We have been angry about Battle.net's new incarnation since Beta, but Blizzard has just kind of said 'Fuck it, we'll get to it when we do.' They are apparently happy enough with the system as it is to leave it be and work on whatever else they have decided was more important. Of course, they have probably been rightly more concerned with HoTS for a long time now, but right after release they only considered minor improvements like their excuse for chat channels and small tweaks to current status and stuff like that. Given what they have done in the time since release, I doubt anything will change soon.
I really want it to change, but I doubt they will take people off of the expansion at this point to revamp it, unless they have already planned on changing it for HoTS specifically. I think that would be our only hope for any drastic changes.
You guys who have the power, make signs about this issue at the next major SC2 tournament you attend to, the more the better and they can't keep ignoring it.
I may be wrong, but didn't they specifically fix this back in the beta? IIRC, they made it so if you're a RT you have a significantly higher chance to play another RT, and same with AT.
Yes, you may sometimes still be a AT and hit a RT(And the other way), but that is after it checks to see if there is enough teams(Basically, so you don't wait 10 mins in queue)
I don't do team games just because of AT vs RT, and i'm sure other people feel the same.
We complained to Blizzard for so long and nothing changed, so I feel like everyone just gave up until HOTS, and then if they don't have their shit fixed, well then god damn.

Since simple = good. But i guess Blizzard thought, good for casuals, true gamers will use irc anyway ;o. So right now you use the system for casuals, your own fault imo, but its good enough to only complain about and still use it, which most people go for.
But had to laugh hard when i noticed that some xbox live person would design bnet2. At that time it was sure to fail hard, but seeing diablo3 now i know why they wanted an xbox like system ... So just scrap bnet2 and stick to the old ways, its just starting a small program.
Blizzard made the first bnet to work with future games. bnet2 seems to be not different and since we know diablo3 goes console ... bnet2 will mostly stay at a level at which the consoles will be able to use it as well (a level which is unacceptable for pc users). And additions to the bnet for sc2, will be done if the bnet teams have time, which they currently don't have since they are working on the diablo3 auction system stuff i guess.
Also complaining now again is pretty useless, all the complaints are old and long noted by Blizzard, either on the todo list or on the ignore list. Ranting about the same stuff will not help. It also will not speed up things, HotS will bring the new features as its way easier to do so.
and expected something else when the op talked about the ui ...
PS: i actually get to know way more people with the new bnet then with the old bnet. So that socializing is harder puzzles me a bit. (i prefer the old system because of that, to much people to talk to, losing time to play XD)
