I watched the mechanics video you did but there are a couple things that I was curious about that you didn't go over unfortunately. I've been really trying to work on my mechanics since I've gotten to plat but they are really holding me down whenever I get a bump in my play. 1 - What is your inject method exactly? I see you hotkey all your queens together but inidividually hotkey a few hatches as well. 2 - Have you customized anything about the standard hotkey layout? upgrades (like P for overlord speed, or L for lair), unit creation shortcuts, camera location keys? 3 - For camera location keys, I know they are extremely useful, but I've noticed a lot of pros don't even use them. I don't know if they just find they not worth the APM or they just don't want to change habits, what are your thoughts on them? If you have let's say your natural on hotkey 5; would you double-tap 5 to go there, or use a camera location hotkey? I would really appreciate it if you could help me out

Find what youre comfy with and practice it

Find what youre comfy with and practice it I'd agree with this, and I'd believe David would as well. There is no "right" way to inject. David hotkeys his hatcheries and selects the queen with the mouse, then injects. This is actually one extra click compared to what other people do, but if you're fast enough, it won't matter. You should focus on your own method and not so much on what is fastest, but knowing in your head exactly when you need to check if you need to inject. Check your queen energy in your replays and make sure it's not too high. For good mechanics, this needs to be in the front of your mind at all times: "CHECK MY HATCHERIES" Camera location keys: This is probably something you should add to your game later on at a higher level; it may give you too many thing to try to learn at once. For now, get your injects down pat. Next, maybe work on hotkeying the eggs you make into unit groups. This my opinion though. Maybe David will have more advice.

F1 - Main hatchery 1 - units 2 - units 3 - queens / anti-air 4 - all hatches 5 - 2nd hatchery 6 - 3rd hatchery 7 - 4th hatchery 8 - queens late game / 5th hatchery 9 - scout unit / scout overlord / scout overseer 0 - main upgrade hatchery I aim to put most of my hatcheries on separate hotkeys as i like to have full control of where i build my units. For this reason, i use F1 for the first hatch, since my hotkey "4" is used for all hactcheries (close to my hand so i can make units while attacking). Lategame, you should end up clicking the minimap for most of your screen swaps. This takes a bit more apm and practice, but this occurs because you should be looking at your minimap most of the time, and not the actual screen.

Can you guys do a video showcasing the ZvZ style where you mass upgrade lings/infestor/ultra? Either David or the opponent its doesnt really matter, I just want to know how you would go about combating this unit compo or how to correctly utilize it. Thanks =)

Shawn and I don't believe in charging for coaching, hence the free VODs. You're welcome to ask us questions on bnet directly or on TL. Whenever online, we are both in channel Stoic Esports on NA.

If yes, what do you think about it, and would you consider doing a VOD on it? Ahh yes, we actually showcase this build vs Starnan last week. The only difference is it is done as a counter to 3 base stargate play in this game rather than a counter to the 2 base immortal all-in. It is very strong vs 3 base play, and very difficult to pull off vs the 2 base immortal all-in. Nestea executed it perfectly vs Lure, but I feel that Lure made some questionable decisions based on his resource allocation (you don't need to continually warp in offensive units when the majority of your opponent's army is muta/ling). However, base-racing is the correct decision if you open this style, and see that the protoss is doing the immortal all in.
