Discussing the controversy and stating your opinions in a constructive way is fine, but there will be bans for any player/organization bashing without anything to substantiate it. |

Do you even know how sports (or sports-entertainment, however you want to call it) contracts even work? Funny funny post.

I hadn't thought of this angle:
What kind of a douchebag is Coach Lee! Even if you player intends on leaving your team, what kind of a coach says stuff like suing the player, right before aLive's Code S match. I can understand why Heart/aLive plan on leaving now. Be a better person and say whatever you want after the game man, damn. Very bad intentions imo. Lee basically sealed the deal of losing his players - whatever little chance he had of retaining them, is quite possibly gone by now.

At this point, is there any sympathy left for us fans to have for TSL?
The PuMa situation I can understand because that was the first "issue" with the seemingly picture perfect TSL. They had it all... a famous BW coach, a GSL champion, scary up and comers with crazy potential, the first Korean team to offer their players salaries, one of the more successful teams when it comes to sponsorships...
Fast forward 6 months and TSL is riddled with inconsistent management and an inconsistent vision for their team. Talk of their 2 team captains being so lazy that they don't show up to practice (which led to the withholding contract drama), players like PuMa leaving his "family" behind, publicly stating that they are taking their team in a different direction multiple times, Rain, Clide, Killer, JYP all leaving for various reasons, and now this with Alive. Either TSL caught a series of unlucky breaks (I personally don't buy into being lucky or unlucky on a grand scale) or there's something wrong with the team and their management.

Sorry ToD.
ToD hardly ever talks about rumours or players joining/leaving his team, when he does you can give him credit

Oh god not this again

Well, let's see how this pans out. If KESPA was around, this wouldn't happen. I'm not saying SC2 needs KESPA at all, but you know like an NFLPA kind of thing, with team owners, league owners, players reps to figure this kind of stuff out. eventually !!! =)

It's not my place to go into details, but all I can say is: Karma is a bitch. That's all hearsay? I mean, I've followed Mama Bear since MBC, and always liked him, but there has to be more shit going on behind the scenes. It's MUCH more complicated than Rekrul summed up. Of course 'shit goes on' behind the scenes, but no one who is posting in this thread knows about it. You'd be surprised what some of us "posting in this thread" know Wolf Please don't act like you know whats going Virgil. You have a few unreliable sources and nothing to do with TSL.. He's sources did tell him aLive left the team. He was the first one to break out the rumors. He also knew about Cyrano way before us...
As for whether aLive has joined Fnatic, give what ToD said, I'm sure TSL, aLive and Fnatic are trying to get things working behind the scenes before aLive stays/joins up with Fnatic. Coach Lee could have possibly jumped the gun here. *shrug*.

You're right, I have no idea what's going on

Suing his own player for breach of contract? for how much? $100 .. that's really fucked up, TSL should just let him go... there is obviously bad blood between alive and the coach.
|
Uhh, maybe I missed something, but I thought alive was a free agent? I'm just gonna guess i missed something...
|
Seems more and more likely that the fnatic coach is really having some management issues, especially that the players themselves dont talk to the coach about it..
Even weirder that the coach loves going to the media instead of going directly to the team fnatic, issues such as these reaching the public really is unprofessional

move is controversial as TSL Head Coach Lee Woon Jae is claims that the Fnatic approached Alive behind his back, without going through the proper channels This is giving me deja vu... who else did this happen to?

TSL always has something going on... I'm still surprised Polt chose to join them, though I suppose that was when they were looking a bit better despite having already been dealing with a lot of controversy by then.
As for ToD not knowing about it (if Alive did transfer) it wouldn't surprise me. Fnatic always seemed like the type of team where each of their players is mostly on their own, and there doesn't seem to be much communication... though that is purely speculation.

I hope TSL dies out, if this is how the coach is going to keep acting. Getting tired of his shit. Always in the news...

I actually like all of the parties involved here, but If what Coach Lee says is true I hope that they do sue Alive. For contracts to mean something they can't just be broken willy-nilly. Things like this(if 100% set true) just set precedent for players to fuck over their teams, and in turn for teams to fuck over their players.
