At this point is it not clearly Coach Lee's fault for not having his players properly contracted? I felt sorry for them the first 3 or 4 times they lost players to other teams, but at this point I don't think anyone can possibly be to blame but the TSL management themselves.

I agree, I feel bad for TSL and if what coach lee says is true than fnatic is 100% in the wrong, especially if they were about to have some kind of partnership and fnatic used that leverage to gain ground with alive.

To be fair, FD faded away far before leaving TSL. Also, Puma has indeed been Code B for quite some time, but he actually has only attempted the Code A qualifiers once if I recall, and I wouldn't say he is disappearing without a trace considering he ranks in at #5 of most prize money won in 2011 and that money has come from recent events.
Bolded statement is incorrect. I've seen him at 2 of them. I will assume its more than 2.
I stand corrected, but also I believe he has not attempted the qualifiers more than twice.
I find that hard to believe, considering that puma tried out for this gsl and last gsl, which means boss had to see him at those 2 only, which I highly doubt. This puma doesn't try out for gsl myth somehow keeps getting spread by puma fans as an excuse for him never qualifying for gsl even once.

It's MUCH more complicated than Rekrul summed up. Of course 'shit goes on' behind the scenes, but no one who is posting in this thread knows about it.
Nice people can be deceitful, whether that be to themselves or to others around them. Obviously, I don't know anything about Lee, but I would have to trust Rekrul's opinion of him.

Not really a "myth" he just doesn't go for the GSL too often it seems. I don't know why in all honesty.

Great pick-up for Fnatic. Feels good that this silly korean cultural "rules" gets more blows by western teams. Hopefully it's all come crumbling down soon. Coach Lee needs to understand that contacting the player first is how it's done. If he ran a good business for his players, he wouldn't lose them.

No, it is a myth, cause he does go for gsl often, but his fans keep saying otherwise as an excuse for him never qualifying. Some still claim he's only tried out once.
I wonder if ToD just means, "He has not officially signed the contract that will bring him to Fnatic." Or, "Fnatic is still trying to work out a deal with Lee, so he is not actually on the team yet." I don't know if he's one to parse words like that, though.

ALIVE IS UNDER CONTRACT.
Can this be put in gigantic bold letters at the beginning of the thread?

Since joining EG he has only tried twice. And the last time he got to the final round.

You truly show your ignorance if you call Fnatic, one of the biggest and wealthiest eSports teams in the world, a "sub par, half dead" team. Their SC2 roster may have been lacking, but Fnatic is eSports legacy.

Please don't act like you know whats going Virgil. You have a few unreliable sources and nothing to do with TSL..
