I think the people from GomTv are not as honest as they plead. My thoughts on this are that gom has a player that they prefer over naniwa to be in code S, and this is just part of their scheme to put him in the GSL. GomTV wants more fans and better games, the question is what are they willing to do to get them. I ask you now,
Do you think that GomTV is capable of bending the rules they themselves made in order to pick the player they deem better to be in code S?
I think this is very possible, and it is exactly what happened. absolutely and the funny thing is that they invited idra (he don't replaces naniwa, anyway), who is the most unrespectful person in E-Sports of all time xD (which for i like him a bit, as long as he doesn't insult random fat guys, and is able to shake hands after a match - that was just awkward) (beside of that i don't see how he will compete in code s) and Sen... zzZZzzzZ. Naniwa was more skilled and more entertaining - see proberushing nestea in a game that doesn't matter ^^ who else would do this? Idra would 6pool and gg out... cool. Thing is Idra BM in other tourneys and on ladder, he pays his respects when playing in GSL lol kcool.... that's even more disgusting. what is disgusting about it? its called having some respects. When in Rome, do as the romans do what? respect towards whom? sorry i gotta puke right now - such retarded people open their minds. Why are you trying to insult people? Grow up a little. IdrA does have respect because he never pulled his "BM" in the GSL. If he did he probably would of gotten in trouble for it. omg you hopefully not really thinking about this in this way. He got respect because he never pulled his BM in GSL? oh yeah that counts...
edit: you say that it is ok to be BM, but sucking cocks importants cock... ye cool.
i think Idra himself would punish you^^

The fact you don't even know the name of Naniwa's opponent makes it so obvious you have no clue what actually happened. it was NOT a proberush, it was 1click followed by putting the hands of the keyboard.

naniwa is 0-11 at the gsl? wow.
i'm pretty sure they took him out cause of the "probes rush, and hands off keyboard" controversy, plus his bad record.
least GOM added two foreign players straight to Code S to please the foreign fans. might rage the koreans though guess it's within their rights...

They planned on having the 2 foreign code S seeds from the start when they announced the 2012 format. Just they originally had nani and idra as their top 2 candidates for those 2 spots, but with the nani thing they took him off and bumped up sen who was the 3rd candidate.

Best placing for any non-korean in the gsl :p

GOM can't bump Naniwa off like that. because Providence promised him that spot. That is so unfair to Naniwa. He didn't do anything that warranted this

Please read the information surrounding this. The code S spot he won at providence was replaced by a spot in the blizzardcup which is their code S of this month, their last main event of 2011, and has about the same prizepool as code S but without taking a month. They gave him that. The code S spot he was going to also get, was him being considered for one of the 2 foreign code S seeds which GOM is giving out AT THEIR DISCRETION.

As far as i know, the agreement was supposed to be a Code S spot. I think that the BLizzard Cup was an invite only due to all the winners of major tournaments. But the original plan was to give the code S spot to the highest finishers.
I already read the agreement, it is my opinion that GOM TV broke rules. GOMTV had an obligation to give Naniwa the Code S spot. Unless, Naniwa broke some rule or citation in the MLG/GSL league exchange program.
I respect your views, but I think you are incorrect. I will stick to my beliefs and stick to it I will.

did all korean players and all mlg players, including potential open bracket players?
the contract is a contract to the benefit of a third party at best Tri-lateral players MLG GOM so when did every player of mlg or gsl agree to this? its a stipulatio alteri not a tripartite contract Tri-lateral of course. All three parties agree to the terms and conditions of the MLG and LXP.. Players agree to the MLG rules and LXP MLG agrees to Players conditions and GOMTV's rights GOMTV agrees to be true to its LXP Three parties.. very simple erm i'll give you a hint: Who signed the LXP? That's how many parties are covered by the LXP. The players don't have any obligations or rights based on the LXP. Their obligations and rights are covered in seperate contracts which might be based on the LXP but they are seperate. The poster above you used the correct term. How can a player be part of the LXP if they were not present to sign it? When should they have expressed their intent to enter into an agreement? I have no idea where you get this idea from, but the LXP is an agreement between two parties.
I think once the player signs the contract with MLG, they agree to be a part of the LXP. that only makes logical sense. I bet they have a right to decline the invite to the LXP. However, if the player accepts the terms and conditions of such a manner, ya know being in Korea, cooperating with Staff and GSL personel, then the player is a willing volunteer and party member of the league exchange program.
My question to you is, how do you know the players don't have any rights in the LXP. If, MLG promised the players the code S spot if they got the top ranking? That makes no sense Tula? I mean who do you defend here? do you defend GOM for reneging on their promises? or do you defend Naniwa who was stripped of his GSL code S status? just wonderin
I am also canceling my GSL subcription due to this Naniwa incident. GL Naniwa, you are an awesome progamer.. Do well at NASL and IPL.. I am not going to pay for MLG either.

Does the fact that there isn't a 3rd place match in GSL mean that Sen will get 2nd?

Also the Blizzard Cup invites for Providence is for "Winner and Runner-up" not the one who wins "code s" spot.

+ Show Spoiler [Up and Down Spoilers - Inca vs Zenio] +seriously inca obviously throwing a game to his former teammate zenio, in todays up and down, when he knew it could get them both through. AND THAT WAS IN A GAME THAT MATTERS, which IMO is 10 times worse, Inca should be banned for throwing a game. Seriously MISSPLACING A WALL OFF, couldn´t he have found a less obvious way to lose on purpose?!?!

Hey guys. This thread (one of about 20 Naniwa threads) is at 120 pages. The Protect IP thread on the other hand (the only one) is about 73 pages. Glad to see Naniwa is more important to you than the internet itself. Nice priorities.

Hey dude, if I want to discuss non-starcraft issues I do it on other sites. The general forum is often youtube/reddit level when it comes to discussing serious topics.

Your post is pretty absurd. What the hell will posting in that thread do? People are interested in SC2 related incidents on a SC/SC2 website, its as simple as that. Stop throwing out horrible comments.
