Can you imagine if you were trying to pass the Bar exam to become a lawyer and you failed it, then they gave you another test that didn't mean a thing.... would you try your hardest? I'd probably just fill out C in every question. Then everyone starts yelling WELL YOU DIDN'T TAKE THAT TEST SERIOUSLY, EVEN THO IT DOESN'T MEAN SHIT!!! YOU SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO BECOME A LAWYER NOW BECAUSE ITS HARD FOR YOU TO CARE ABOUT MEANINGLESS THINGS. Ridiculous. Players don't want to sign autographs after they lose games, you think they want to play meaningless games? Shit lets not stop here let's crucify every single player who didn't play their fucking MLG placement matches after they were eliminated(you know matches that actually meant something in the grand scheme of things)... but oh wait half of them don't even fucking show up. Get off your high horses and stop harping on Naniwa just because its Naniwa. Terrible analogy, because you're forgetting that this game was watched by thousands of people, but I do see where youre coming from. This year, the Davis Cup (Tennis) stopped playing out dead rubbers (the meaningless matches in the best of 5 series, after a team had alread won). I think SC2 tournaments need to follow suit. I should probably add though... at least the tennis players, in the past, played those matches out, and didnt just quit after 2 minutes. Naniwa seems to have no honour and doesn't care about putting on a show for the fans/community. Some people care about that, some people don't.

His new team has also been mentioned loads of time, as well as all sc2 reporting focusing on him for the last few days. That match; best entertainment of the tournament so far. strongly disagree. not all attention is good attention, and Im almost certain his new team does not appreciate being linked to this. When Tiger Woods was just being caught in his scandal, he was getting TONS of attention, yet companies still pulled their sponsorship because they didn't want to be linked with it. I haven't seen anyone saying they are now a naniwa fan after this, yet ive seen lots of people like myself who are no longer fans of his, so how is that good for him? Its not like he was a lesser known player who was trying to get his name out there, everyone already knew him. This right here is not PR genius at all

Wow, lashing out on naniwa like that :O Maybe u don't know this, but naniwa plays to win tournaments, not for money or fans. He isn't there to please you or me. Some find that bad (like urself) and others find that refreshing (me). The game wouldn't have been "real", it would have been kinda half assed from both players (they aren't gonna fish out their new BO's/Strats etc.) Nani apologised for his behaviour, and I think that's the end of it. As if others never ragequit, GG or play some weird strat cos they don't care (And if u ladder sir, I'm sure u know what I am talking about). Clean ur mouth with soap! He was at an invitational tourney... broadcasted on live TV. Yes, he already lost but thousands tuned in to see Nestea and Naniwa play. I could care less about Naniwa now, I'll watch his games maybe... but who cares about me...He has angered GSL, the fans who were at the games today and a lot of Korea(and the world)... I think that's really what he should be worried about. He's suppose to be a progamer for god sakes. Have a lil professionalism and learn where you are.

esports needs penalties and to enforce rules on players. SC1 had it good, it was actually professional and rules were enforced. There needs to be like actual fines if you want people to take players seriously and not dumb clowns playing in circuses commentated by people who love to spin everything as a positive. Right now players can do w/e the hell they want during a live broadcast game and get away with it, such a joke.

And that game was fucking close because 6 pool is a legitimate strategy in certain situations. Jinro won because IdrA missed a marine by like 2 zergling hits and it got in the bunker. Also, that game was on Jungle Basin. 6 pooling was almost IdrA's best chance to win.

funnily enough, if naniwa did this at MLG the crowd would be going wild hoping he had some super secret rush prepared.

E-Sport is obviously soccer and anyone who thinks differently obviously knows nothing about korean culture.

The only reason there's a shit-storm is because Naniwa didn't bother hiding the fact that he wasn't trying. Look, if he'd 4-gated, he still wouldn't have been trying, but nobody would've cared. It would've been a shitty show regardless.

Not gg-ing in his first gsl probably didn't help win over the Koreans.

Idra has drone-rushed in tournaments before though, copied Morrows "amazing Steppes of War"-strat. They both won too.
