Haven't heard of one bad Naniwa incident since he left Virus (?) and joined Dignitas. Hes always seemed like a good guy at heart, so I doubt he'd be intentionally mean and the taunts and stuff he did that MLG (the ones that I saw) weren't really mean, just funny taunts. And there are some personalities that people just can't deal with, maybe hes a little too blunt or demanding with the Col staff. Hope he does well with QXG though, definitely on the short list of impressive Protoss.
Side note: Col isn't talentess. Dunno where thats coming from, but they're fairly strong. Second side note: MC is an ass. His ceremonies were a little funny when he won three GSL months, but until he got the MLG S seed, he was in Code B. Hes Inca with a better understanding of two base all ins, or Combat EX with an expansion.

Hahaha, who/what did he BM? :D
I don't know. Major League Gaming, probably the best SC2 tournament in the world, or at least outside Korea. Nestea, one of the most respected players in Korea and the world?
I may have missed if he flamed MLG tournament, but he certainly didnt flame or BM nestea. Its just you people who want a reason to hate him. He said several times after the interview about winning MLG invitational, that he did not disrespect any of the other players etc etc.
You have no idea what you're talking about. Did you watch MLG Providence? Obviously not or you would know that he did, indeed, BM NesTea and the tournament itself. Please stop posting for a bit.
I find it funny that people choose to rabidly, zealously defend Nani and cast a bunch of down on JLake's statements, even when given Nani's history. People see what they want to see I suppose.
What a bullshit post...
It's okay when MC does his bullshit ceremonies, or when MMA does a kamehameha at IdrA?
It seems that YOU have no idea what YOU'RE talking about. Nestea told Naniwa BEFORE the game PERSONALLY that he would CRUSH him. It was all friendly shit Naniwa did to him and he even stated after that he respected him alot, Nestea mentioned Naniwa in a interview afterwards.

Sigh... I'm not gonna refer to Nani's incident in particular, but I always like to address this issue.
When a player does a Kamehameha, or does a funny throat slash then proceeds to high-five the crowd when winning, or does a murloc dance, it's just a silly ceremony for the fans. It's for the fan's enjoyment.
When a player openly bashes someone, flips the middle finger at someone, etc, that's just to cause anger, basically BM.
It's extremely different situations, in extremely different contexts. The latter just shows how little most foreigner players know of showmanship in comparison to their korean counterparts, probably because the korean scene as a whole is so experienced at being public, again in comparison to the foreigners.
NO.
Kamehameha at someones booth, isn't that just as bad as doing thumbs down?
MC pounded on DRGs booth in the GSTL.
IdrA already said he was playing along with MC when he flipped his finger. If you take the finger flipping so seriously then perhaps you should do the same with the throat slash. Lemme act like you for a sec here...
OMG MC DID THROAT SLASH TO IDRA? HE WANTS TO KILL HIM IRL WTF.
Given how socially awkward Naniwa is you can't expect his "ceremony" to look super natural as all the koreans do in their ceremonies.
First everybody thinks Naniwa is boring and bland.
He does something funny, gets flamed!
That's the SC2 community for you...
look at what Losira does at the start. That's basically what Naniwa did to Nestea...
you fail to realize that this is just playful banter between teams (the video). naniwa has a track record of being BM and such so he gets more backlash (possibly justified too)
Has anyone even clarified if the incident between Nestea and Naniwa even had anything to do with this? And also, why is it such a big deal. People have done much worse/said much worse and no one has cared. Just because it happens to involve Nestea makes it more wrong? Gees
Noone in their right mind sells the contracts of a player who's on a run like Naniwa is atm, if there aren't some serious issues. Noone. So yeah, good luck Quantic.

You fail to realize that idra is even more BM but people don't give a shit because he's the only good player USA has produced.

Naniwa hasn't done anything BM at all, except one thing, since he joined dignitas, possibly even earlier. The only BM thing was when he said MLG is a "joke tournament".

there are plenty of people who care that idra is BM. there are haters out there. they voice it at times. the thing is, idra has been noticeably getting a lot better, you cannot deny that.

The "incident" you're referring to was not the reason behind this decision.
That's pretty nice, and not completely unexpected change, good luck to Naniwa on Quantic, they're becoming a pretty big powerhouse in the SC2 world as of late, can't wait to see their results!

Am I the only one that finds it weird that coL now lost the third signed player with reasons like "the relationship was not as expected / did not work out" (Destiny, Stephano, Nani). I guess they need to work on their communication or smth like that.
Good luck to Nani, a good player deserves a team he feels comfortable with.
