As long as he was good enough to be in the tournament then yes it's fine in my opinion. If they don't want him at MLG then ban him from the tournament, problem fixed. Now I ask you, would it have been better if he insulted someone that wasn't one of the best players in the world? Otherwise I don't see the reason for you to mention that part at all.

I don't think the Naniwa Nestea incident is what people are saying is BM, rather the whole "MLG joke tournament" thing which really is indefensible even if he was mislead. However, I still wish complexity thought this decision out and at least have tried to work with Naniwa on his "core values", whatever they may be. Although perhaps I may be biased against complexity in this situation because of what Jason Lake said on reddit...

The Nestea thing is actually what people say is BM, which is think is laughable really. The MLG thing is of course BM.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen a professional player (in all kinds of different sports) call SPECIFIC refs, casters, coaches, games, leagues, etc. a joke.

Who cares? It's not like this is preschool happy time. It's a professional sport. You're lucky you don't have two guys fighting in the center of the room because one of them "was talking smack yo!"

A little bit unexpected, but you can't blame him for relocating to a team that shares his vision more so than coL. gl with QG Naniwa!

He did not insult Nestea. He called his decisions in one game "idiotic". His comment was completely taken out of context.

It would be awesome if you took your bias out of this. No one should EVER insult a tournament they are at. The rules are available to them. And you should not insult any unless it is warranted. The Nestea insult was totally unwarranted and unnecessary. Don't bother bringing up Idra's BM either because while I agree he is bad at BM he has vastly improved recently and does not really bash people anymore. That was the idra of old, and he is changing. I don't really seeing naniwa changing anytime soon.

We're sending TriMaster to Korea any week now and Johan is well aware of that. I'm not going to get into a public argument and wish him the very best but this was a one way decision. His contract was being sold (to Quantic or someone else) whether he approved or not.

http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/n59w3/complexity_sells_naniwa_contract_to_quantic_gaming/c36d1v7?context=3

Thankfully Millenium took a glance at Complexity's contracts and warned Stephano about how of a shady contract it was, that they could do whatever they wanted with it without his approval like selling it to other teams the way they just did with Naniwa.

Seems that it's mainly Swedes and other Euros that are trying to defend Naniwa. It's amazing how some people in this thread can't see the difference in what MC did with the suit compared to how Naniwa acted during MLG and other events.

But, it's horribly hypocritical when you say that when everyone is in love with IdrA's BM. Naniwa calling somebody an idiot causes a shitstorm among mainly americans while IdrA can tell people to go fuck themselves for no reason what so ever other than beating them (MaNa) or call someone a waste of life for streamsniping them once (cruncher). I don't have anything against americans or anything but holy shit... most of u over there are soo biased and hypocritical it's difficult not to hate ^^

Why not? What if the tournament is a joke?

The Nestea insult was totally unwarranted and unnecessary.

You REALLY should avoid watching football. (also, FTR, I've heard fan-favorite "Tastosis" make worse comments about players while they were casting)

I don't have any bias in this, I don't even like Naniwa. I stand by what I said no matter who the player is. Why would I bring up idra? We're talking about Naniwa are we not? I'm fine with insults, people should be able to take some crap, even though he did not insult nestea. If it's against the tournament rules to call the tournament a joke then why not disqualify him. It's as easy as that.

Many people just assumed sase would leave qxg because one of the reasons he joined was because of the partnership with a korean team

But since qxg is looking close to startale, no reasons to think about it
