Who cares? It's not like this is preschool happy time. It's a professional sport. You're lucky you don't have two guys fighting in the center of the room because one of them "was talking smack yo!"
And they get shit for that from some fans. I don't know why you are so surprised :\

Sure maybe not ever, I probably should not have said that, but MLG is not a joke tournament, you should not insult them. They do a lot for Starcraft.
And yea, people get fined in sports for rude comments to officials and such.

Yeah, they get crap for it, but again, I'm always like: "Who cares?" Are we not adults here? Is this not a professional sport (game if you prefer)? I just don't get the "OMG MY VIRGIN EARS! HE CALLED SOMEONE AN IDIOT!!!!" attitude.
And you know what happens if players insult or make snide comments about officiating post game? They get fined by the commissioner. Not really. I've seen coaches straight up ask a ref if he's retarded or if he really is in the other team's pocket. It's a professional sport, people are gonna get fired up, people are gonna talk smack, personalities will clash. This may sound harsh but everyone needs to get the fuck over it and grow up.
edit: And it's way worse with player on player. You know why they rarely let you hear what the two teams are saying too each other? It's because you can't put those words on the television or you'll get fined by the FCC...
Fight breaks out in an NFL game? Flags fly, couple of penalty yards. Coaches screaming, fans screaming. Everyone gets over it and moves on...
Kid calls a tournament a joke (which EVERY athlete has done at least once in his life) and says someone else did something idiotic, and it seems like it's the end of the world for some of you... I just find it kind of funny. I bet y'all care more than NesTea or MLG...

Okay, of course every swede will defend his comments, and he will fix it later as well after he realizes how bad it was. But you can't deny he straight up called Nestea and idiot. Because that is what he said.

What coaches say to a ref in game has no bearing. The spectators can't hear it for most of the time. If a coach says it in a post game press conference he gets fined.

I think its safe to say Naniwa's position as a player is immeasurably different to yours and thus you cannot possible say that his view of MLG as a "joke tournament" is wrong, hell noone can its an opinion. Maybe he shouldve got fined or whatever but frankly thats MLGs fault for not officiating their tournament more rigidly - infact afaik players arent even meant to speak in chat during games, if they had nipped this rule break in the bud they'd never have had a spectacle such as naniwas outburst.

When has a coach been fined for calling the officiating "a joke" in a press conference? I've seen a coach say that multiple times, didn't hear about any fines. Do you have any examples?

Every sport has different rules for different reasons. In American football you can be outwardly pissed at refs, etc. I remember when James Harrison (Steelers line backer) said that the Commissioner of the NFL was the devil in a magazine interview.
In the NBA you'll get penalized for BM to a ref. In college rugby you'll get penalized for saying damn near anything at all to a ref unless you're the team's captain. None of those sports penalize shit-talk between players though, and I think obviously that's how it should be.
But anyway, each game has to decide what kind of manners they want to enforce. IMO player to player comments (especially in real life) shouldn't be moderated at all unless they appear on screen, in the game. Let rivalries happen, ya know?

I am fine with rivalries. I am just trying to open the eyes of the people defending Naniwa why people do not like him. They are just blind to what I am saying.

I am not saying only swedes defend him. I am taking what the person I quoted and elaborated on it. He was the only who said swedes were defending him. Please look at the quote before you put words in my mouths. I know plenty of people like naniwa, it just so happened the guy I quoted only mentioned swedes, so I only talked about swedes in mine...
