Being down 2-0 vs MVP and you need to win 4 games in order to win is close to impossible so it builds for more upsets and more excitement!

I for one am very disappointed that the Halo: Reach prize pool was double that of the Starcraft 2 Prize Pool. I want MLG to pick up SSF4. Fighting game community is awesome, and draws lots of crowds. 50k for 1 person in sc2. 100k for 4 persons in halo reach. Prizepool per person is twice as big in sc2.

I'm really interested to see how they are planning on changing the brackets.

Plus, apparently it's the general consensus among Reach pros that Reach is a terrible game. CoD doesn't even deserve to be on the circuit. I'd have so much more respect for MLG if it was LoL/SC2/SSF4 centered, with Reach and BlackOps/MW3/MW4/WhiteOps in 2012 being a bit less featured. I for one wouldn't be surprised if more and more sponsors went to SC2 after seeing viewer numbers and fanbase etc. I can respect that Halo got MLG where it is now, hell I played in Halo 3 Meadowlands '09, but Halo is fading as an ESPORT and it's all because Reach was NOT a good game.

I bought Gold anyway, just like I buy a ticket for every league I can, because I <3 ESPORTS

But the "problem" is that the majority of the Dota players are from China and Southeast Asia which might not really be relevant to MLG sponsors and these viewers might not be attracted to MLG in general. Current Chinese dota is somewhat like Korean BW, they don't really care much about foreign events because they know the highest quality events and tournaments are in their own country and considering it's China, they have a big enough domestic market anyway so they don't really have to appeal to international market.

Also I love shooters but try and find one that pros respect more and is more entertaining... it might not be made yet.
