Bascially everything I was critical about in the last season seems to be resolved. Maybe except extended series, dont know if they still have that.
I will buy a HD pass this season for sure.

I am pretty sure you can't embed anything apart from YouTube videos to TL. Perhaps for 2012 MLG could look into a player that works more reliably that the one they are currently using, please?

Does this mean they are getting rid of the circuit (They are coming around to Aneheim, Raleigh, etc?) Or is it COMPLETELY separate?

Or is it COMPLETELY separate? The winter season is for a smaller prize pool, but has seeding for pool play at the regular circuit events. They still are going to do at least 4 full blown circuit events with the open bracket and stuff

ASUS ROG at Assembly winter And the NA qualifiers are overlapping IEM Sao Paulo. To be fair most players won't be playing at IEM Sao Paulo and those that are can play in another qualifier.

The invites for the qualifiers is only to determine the pool play. The MLG Winter Championship will be like any other MLG... there wil be 16 people in pool play, and an Open Bracket... so effectively it doesn't change anything. All that it does is gives like FIVE tournaments per season, rather than 5 tournaments per year,. It's awesome oo! I love the format. yea but still no rather unknown player outside of the 139 invitees can try to win a pool spot if they didnt have money to travel or something like that last year. So before at least anyone from the beginning of the year had a shot at pool play to accumulate points. Now if you aren't in the 139 now you don't have even a shimmer of hope of making pool play 139 is not a small number. Unless they royally fuck up the selection of the 139 players there no way any of those left will be in a position to actually qualify in a top 8 spot.

That was GSL's fault for not keeping their part of the deal...

Yeah, I think MLG should give Naniwa's opponents a 50% handicap now, just because of that. Can't believe MLG would do such a thing.
