Wait so the Replicant.

If it works on non-massive units, does that mean I can steal siege mode vs the 1-1-1?

And if the Terran decides to open Cloaked Banshees, does that mean I can use Cloak against them at the other end as well?

The viper is going to so amazingly fucking OP, it's great. Using the "grant detection" ability, can you imagine how awful banelings are going to be to deal with? A cloaked ultralisk? It's like a raven, but with useful abilities.

Replicants are going to be sick. Terran makes a ghost to EMP your templar. Fuck, just replicate a ghost and EMP him -- no contest, favor Protoss. Question is, can you replicate a replicated unit? Imagine a Protoss amassing a fleet of tanks or BCs...

It's sounds like the Tempest is going to force Terran into making BCs to deal with Protss air (or a bunch of the new Warhounds).

Well, I called the hellion upgrade down to a T, including the type of drawbacks of switching to it's transform mode. Lame unit. Warhound could be cool, hopefully more mobile than the Thor which it is presumably replacing. The shredder sounds neat, nice to have an area control unit to aid tanks.

Don't take me seriously, I'm no Pro. Neither are you.

Honestly I was really skeptical, but the new units sounds like a lot of fun, lets see if they can somehow balance them now. The answer in a couple month.

Goliath = want, AOE = not want (unless the damage is really low). It should be a unit that's massable, not something that you can be like "oh look 30 mutas, I'll just make 2 of these and defend." zerg will still magic box, so you'll need to mass them like gols in bw, which will make magic boxing take some interesting effort

its ahrd enough to muta harass if theres a Thor since magic boxing is the last thing you want to do with these guys sprinkled aropund there base with some turrets theyd be able to shut down muta harass alot earlier

Terran didn't really change. they just buffed mech in each mu. TvZ, the thor was so friggin slow and difficult to mass so it could be picked off by mutas with magic box so they brought back a faster, probably cheaper unit that fills the same role. TvP, hellions used to get roflpwned by colossus builds in direct engagements, so i would imagine the new hellion transformation can actually tank a few hits now.

now protoss, tempest seems like a much better replacement for carriers, but the other two units i feel it really depends what tier they are placed at. Replicant is a big WTF tho.

you have to get in melee range to copy it, so I doubt you'll get to copy a tank lol

So... im curious how the unit reveals what they are making. It seems that if it flies and its in their base you can just see it anyway?? Im confused on that but I will have to look forward 2 it

All the concepts seem at least decent, and somewhat promising.

My only suggestions:
Battle Hellion looks a little silly. I suggest redesigning the Hellion to look less silly in both its forms.
Rename all new Terran Units.
Rename the Tempest.
WarHound looks a little silly too. May need to to redesign the art.

Probably just means that mech will now be viable in TvP. Although, I don't see how any of these deal with the heart of the problem with TvP in the first place: chargelots.

As far as we know, you could steal sieged tanks, cloak banshees, blue-flame hellions, ghosts... anything but a BC, thor, ultra, or brood lord.
