(Btw Protoss has barely any units neither, if he tries to get 50 workers for 10 min.) Zerg has no units when they spam drones either.

And can it be redeployed or is it a 1-time use (either permanently in an area or until energy is used up)? From watching the videos it seems like it hasn't got a limit, but I would be happy if someone could throw some light on this. As far as I know, you build it from a factory and then you have it until destroyed, just like any other terran unit.
But is it redeployable or will it be stationary when deployed?

How many of you guys went 13gate/14gas (ie normal opening), put a pylon on the low ground of your friends base (or in his base lol), then put a much more forward pylon and when it was building, "arc'd" the lower pylon until the next pylon was up....
Because my friend was REALLY pissed to find out that pylons are now cannons. He said "NR10".
The BOSS cannon rush is going to be a million times worse now too. Now no matter what build protoss does, it's a potential cannon rush. If you are pro you would've gas stealed into Arcing the Assimilator Combat-EX #1 GM incoming? There was a thread on that cheese too. It'll either get figured out (to the point that it'll become useless) or nerfed away I'm sure. It requires a gateway, anyway. If they have a forge, gate, and a forward pylon that early, it's a good sign something's up.
What you do is normal gate/gas, attempt a pylon in the opponent's base or steal their gas or 'boss cannon rush' (where you put it so only 1 worker can hit the pylon), and if it gets up, you build a forge and move forward with cannons and protect it with arcing.

It's one pixel. This creates a new challenge in unit control as it is really important to always hotkey your replicants or otherwise you will lose them and not be able to find them anymore.
No.. just kidding. But would be funny though...

The annoying thing about the Warhound (besides the ugly design) is that their bonus damage will NEVER come into play against zerg. It's just a weird thing that this unit is essentially nerfed for an entire matchup.

The oracle seems really cool. But the game won't ever be the same without Carriers, even if they were never used much in WoL.

I wonder... a replicant can't replicate massive units, but if it replicates a corruptor, can it turn into a broodlord? Since it enables all the upgrades for it...

siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick, so pumped for this hoping it will get me back into sc2!!!!

i am wondering how well these new zerg units are at harassing worker lines. viper doesn't seem so much like a good harassment tool unless you pulled a bunch of workers into a pit or somewhere that requires dropship to bring them back to the mineral line. but the burrowed locust shooter?
also, are morphing brood lords massive? then a replicant could try to catch the zerg morphing broods and imitate them ...

You didn't watch the OP linked presentation, did you? Why would want to replicate a FLOATING COCOON? Next thing you want to ask, is possible able to replicate as larve, then you could morph into anything!!?

all the HOTS demonstration was to me was: "how many ways are we adding to butt%^*& siege tanks? LOL" replicants and vipers, on top of strong zerg pushes and immortals and zealots and nukes... I felt that tanks were very sub par before, but now they feel overpriced and flawed as shit...
I never built tanks before because of their obvious disadvantages, but now i see no reason to invest so much into expensive units that are so totally subverted (battle cruiser included)...
tt i guess terran answer to everything these days is go pure ghost because its the only way to protect yourself from all this bullshit... too bad ghosts also suck at combat TT 7 dps...

Isn't Protoss lacking both detection (because robo time spent is so important) AND now every other race has pretty decent map control unit like tanks and swarm host. (even if protoss can use his new unit with the absurd mineral/gas costs) How protoss will came to defend aganist these map control units????

Protoss has even more reliance on the robo bay now? This is ridiculous, colossi stay in? with an additional robo unit? Just makes no sense, get rid of the colossus, like they said the death ball is ruining protoss game design.

You can move out and pressure with the potential to straight up kill greedy zergs, without having to be afraid to get overwhelmed and just...well...lose right there.
Oracle and replicant are cool and cute, but this recall ability could change so much more, the whole flow of the game. It's going to be stupid because protoss are never going to lose battles. Is they winning a battle, then everything is fine, and if they see they are losing they can just mass recall to town. I can't imagine such ability going into release, cause you won't ever see normal battles where zerg or terran is winning, just nonsense.
You're assuming that Protoss is going to have 75 energy lying around, and you're neglecting the fact that the Recalled army has a cooldown on their movement... when they're Recalled, they're frozen. The Protoss can still be harrassed or attacked at the front door during this time. It's merely a way to make the Protoss a bit more mobile, because they're insanely immobile compared to Zerg and Terran.

sorry i havent read all 364 pages but something that might have not been noted. on the HoTs multiplayer play testing, there was an upgrade in the hydralisk den that provided 50% bonus movement speed to hydras when off creep
