Replicants video is so terribad xD 1000 minerals and 1000 gas for 5 tanks that "counter" like 20 marines (1000 mins) that were a-moved with no stim, no shield, no upgrades, and ofc no focus fire.

Well no one should really be surpriced that the expansion brings terrible balance problems to the game... What we also should know from experiance is that these problems will be solved over time. Much as Brood War set the standard for StarCraft, so will also the last expansion, Legacy of the Void, do for StarCraft 2.

Until then we will have to live with these "upsetting" and "re-setting" changes...

The only thing I feel is hurtful is those nostalgic feelings I have for units like the Carrier... And also I am somewhat sceptic to putting replicas of other nostalgic units as the Goliath, Lurker and Firebat in the game - instead of actually just bringing those old horses back to life!

Yet... I know I have grown old, and I also know that this is what happens to people when they grow old... They relate back to their youth and think; "it was so much better when I was young... I Knew how to relate to things back then!"

Yet, once again, I will have to overcome...

It's still about as slow as carriers. Blizz is using larger maps now, so the muta's speed just makes it harder and harder to do anything.

If maybe protoss had better harassment units, but the oracle doesn't actually do any damage at all...

leave 2 tempest to defend muta harass much better than infinite numbers of archons that can just magic box em easily

So you block the mineral line with oracle and this gets destroyed by units.
Does that mean you can put 1 marine in each mineral line and then oracles does no dmg to the economy at all? thats a bit silly

I'll be sad if this is actually popular, I'm hoping pros will speak up about how stupid most of this shit is. Maybe blizzard can still change stuff for the better but i can't say i have much hope after seeing these previews.

They said they wanted to encourage early and mid game agression with it, so it should not come in too late... I can see them realizing how powerful it is and moving it to Fleet Beacon tho.

I know I would make it cost more energy instead, of course. At 75 energy is a steal.

I'm trying really hard to maintain faith in blizzard right now. A lot of the changes, particularly for Protoss, have me a little bit concerned. Its comforting to know that no matter what happens to SC2, BW will still be around lol.

I can't wait to hear the pro opinions on the previews, especially from players who got a chance to test it out.
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

I really don't understand what issues people have with these units. Blizz listens to what each race wants/needs. This much is clear. So, really, what are the problems people have?

I think the nexus recall ability is the smartest and best addition of them all. Wich is why i find it unlikely that it will make it past the alpha im praying that they will keep it though.

Yep they managed to make 2 new flyers for protoss that get countered by the marine, just like all the others and the removed ones xD One doesn't really do any damage to anything and it's best ability is to deny tech, which is only really cool against zerg.

Not like the replicant looks any good against the marine either, unless you can mimic a ghost and nuke with it xD

Toss didnt get anything to solve their Tier 2 issues and the "Harass" unit is underwhelming.

Also the terran units where way to strong and should have been given to a unit that needed them.
