I despise ghosts in PvT, but I think a game design that forces any units out of the equation is very bad.


Huh? I'm saying Dustin Browder is retarded if he thinks Protoss being able to produce Ghosts or Siege Tanks for 200/200 a piece would even be good in PvT, much less "op".


There's more to the game than resource costs. I get the point he's making. Just look at what a few tanks in TvT do. Replicating a couple of Siege tanks with a Protoss army would make a Terran very wary of being the aggressor (something which they're usually quite happy and eager to be).


The thing I fear most about replicators is the synergy between units. Like the synergy between perhaps siege tanks, zealots and sentries.


Like friendly damage your zealoth with the enemy while they can't move because of ff?

new way to deal with infestors. replicate infestor -> neural parasite next infestor -> neural parasite next infestor -> you get the deal.

Replicator needs to go. It's more of a gimmicky unit than a useful one, and I think the Starcraft style is all about utility and micro-ability. Replicator offers neither, it merely punishes the opponent for teching. It will be difficult to balance between uselessness and overpoweredness. Better that we just part ways now.

Removing Overseers sounds like the most broken thing of all.

Tell me, what is Zerg going to do about DT openings?
What unit will make a good enough mobile detector to be worth 200 gas?

On the note of bunkers, couldn't 2v2 partners now build bunkers, drain them for minerals and then salvage on low hp to actually generate additional minerals?

Or a 1v1 Zerg with an SCV and a Rax but with not enough minerals for a Hatchery after a fight (unlikely I admit) be able to produce bunkers and then consume them with corruptors, salvage and repeat?

Incorporated evo chamber timing is what made DT expand's like the worst opening ever in PvZ.

The more I think about it the less im excited for the new expansion. Terran still seems like the best race out there.

I mean a hellion that gets a HEALTH and ARMOUR bonus AFTER transforming? -_-

Nobody used dark archons. Everyone will use vipers for their detection and anti-colossus abilities. Plus they're flying, and autocast makes chaining spells much easier. And infestors are already really good. Maelstrom also didn't do 30+ aoe damage.

yeah man you'll have a super expensive hover drone. it'll pay out after like 300 seconds.

Its at hive tech and ravens are already being used more and more by terrans so dont' think it'll be a problem.

They could couldn't they? Sometimes i think Blizz may need to crowdsource more and not think of dumb and stupid abilities.
