The Carrier should stay but have its Interceptor behavior changed to BW mechanics. Replicant sounds too gimmicky.
Zerg units are all OK imo.

Terran units - bleh. Can't believe it actually *is* a hellion transformer >.< Shredder looks kinda dumb. I think shredder drops into mineral lines could be SUPER effective (even more-so than stimmed marine drops) Protoss - whatever that nano-bot thing is, its pretty unoriginal. All the haters should relax a little bit. As much as we love to rag on Blizzard for game balance reasons, they have done a reasonably good job with SC2 so far. Personally, the only thing I dislike about current Starcraft 2 is PvP. I can get a 50% winrate as Protoss in PvP but I don't have fun. Win or lose, PvP is not fun for me. So I play random. When I hit PvP on the ladder I simply leave the game. This expansion doesn't seem to change anything about PvP. Hopefully the new Nexus ability can reign in 4-gate and other early gateway unit pressures. But I am very unsold on that concept. The main thing about PvP I hate is the Colossus. None of the new units nor ability seem to do anything to stop 7 Colossus from being built and walking over everything. To me, Colossus are the least fun unit in the game. On paper they look cool. In practice they are not fun. I want to be Protoss but I can't stand 1/3 of my games being terribly unfun. I was hoping this expansion would change that. I thought the Colossus was the most, or perhaps the second most hated unit in the game. I was hoping it would get changed or removed. I like how the Zerg have a new and effective way of dealing with it but that doesn't help in PvP | ||

Yeah, the word 'hit' was supposed to be there and wasn't for some reason (probably a typing error on my part). Still, even if they die fast, if it's true about them spawning them at an increasing rate, it'll be incredible once they're spawning 5 at a time. Even if they die fast, it will take a pretty big commitment just to deal with one of these units without taking damage from it, and I can just imagine how strong those buggers are once you get melee upgrades and armor upgrades for your lings. I personally think this is the coolest new unit in the game. | ||
