By the looks of it you can't really imagine that thing moving too fast and it looks like an evolution of the baneling that shoots acid out of its back like a fire truck shooting water. Perhaps with a spray that is similar to a voidrays beam in doing damage over time rather than bust damage like most units? Also for coolness it generates creep in a 6-7 range radius wherever it walks since its slow ![]()

That's actually a really cool idea. I'd imagine it would have other uses, but the idea of a unit that can quickly spread creep like an overlord, but is ground based is really cool.

So my guess is this unit morphs from the hydralisk and is used to place destructible rocks on any expansion, thus making it harder to for the opponent to expand. We all do know how Blizzard loves destructible rocks. And a unit dedicated to that just seems right! On a more serious note, i think this is an evolution of the Lurker.

aiming head + hugeasscannon + "recoilingsafe" legs = siege unit The interesting questions that arise based upon that is this. 1. do you need a new building or research a uppgrade to get the unit? 2. if this is a siege unit does it shoot in unsieged mode? 3. do you need burrow to siege it? 4. what unit would it be morphed from, (here i have to point out that it lore and gameplaywise would be a bit wrong to morph a beefy siege unit from the "glass cannon" hydralisk. gogo debate!

Excuse the poor MS Paint skills. + Show Spoiler + ![]() It would be a wasted unit. You can just bring an overlord and spread creep, what's the point of having whole extra unit just to spread creep? Unless of course it spreads like 3 screens in like 5 seconds lol..

The current theory on the new terran unit is very "transformerish" - so perhaps it could be a theme.
