Although zergling -> baneling -> this thing, 2 mutations is maybe a little bit to much. Anyway I think it is a range unit for sure. | ||

Brings some thoughts of Diablo II Grotesques (among other names of the same monster), but instead of spawning maggots it spawns banelings. Not to get too carried away though... | ||

They're unlikely to make it a better siege weapon than an actual siege tank. The terrans should still have the longest range ground-to-ground unit. Siege tanks also do decently well unsieged with their bonus damage to armoured. My guess is that this unit will either have a ground-to-air attack or maybe something new like a bombardment ability to fire blindly without vision from low ground to high ground. | ||
