Its propaganda projector units, it shows nice videos about awesome zerg army to all enemy units so they would convert on zerg side

I wish they would make some zerg unit able to cliff climb, terran and toss already have one, imagine a ton of bugs crawling up the walls of your base...that would be terrifying... but this..idk, but that opening doesn't look like a place for a canon, it looks like the part of the shell with an opening for the head when it closes down...

I hope it won't have the same mechanics as the lurker. I kind of feel like with lurkers having just one fungal growth on an army will let you completely destroy it. It's the same reason why fungal growth and psi storm on the same race would be kind of a bad idea, so instead the protoss has sentries which are harder to immobilize units with.

In addition, Lurkers aren't a good unit visually. They attack while underground, which will be hard to convey for new viewers I think. That's why the unit's back strikes me as something that would stay above ground in case of burrowing, it would allow for switching between above and underground, but in a more aesthetically appealing way. Secondly, burrowed banelings are already that unit where you have to worry about your marines running into them, they're exactly the same as Hold Lurkers like that, and especially with more expensive scans, that means Blizzard probably will be careful introducing powerful stealth combat units.

Deffinitely seems to me that Blizzard jusr gave zerg a siege tank.

cos tank and marine allins wernt hard enough to hold already, now we gotta deal with tank and roach allins....yay

looks to me like theyve tried to add the lurker into the game without adding the actual lurker. it will probably be either a seige unit or an AA unit which evolved from either the roach or the hydra through a research upgrade in the roach warren or hydra den after lair tech.

im kinda excited about this cos i always wanted lurkers back. but im also worried its gonna be way less awesome then i anticipate and im gonna get disapointed by some shitty designed unit that looks stupid and doesnt do the lurker justice.

we will see. i hope im wrong

It's a siege unit when burrowed, but when unburrowed is an AA unit.

That would be a cool mechanic, kind of like a ground viking

I hope this is the zerg equivalent of the reaver or a direct port of the lurker. It could shoot minibanelings(with capes!) instead of scarabs.

What if the back fills with gas so it can take these big jumps and maybe smash flying units?
Like an awesome replacement to corruptors?

They could be like burrowed somewhere and when a clueless BC happens to fly by they jump on its back.

Or then like glide fast over units while smashing skulls with those big claws?

I hope its not some roach mutation, roaches are already used in so many mass and a move situations and all ins. So why reward this by giving them a transition. I sure hope it would be some hydra mutation, I wanna see more hydra play!!

I don't think the roach will make it to HotS. The supply effectiveness of the roach is just fubar.

I think it will be an upgrade for the roach that will let it burrow and be the same as the siege tank just anti air. Good job blizz, these units are looking to be really cool so far.
