 This was a very good way to start the day for me.. For the OP I seems like it could be some sort of projectile unit, MAYBE it could be like a unit that shoots other units onto high ground or low ground to avoid protoss force fields and ramp blocks | ||

That being said, i could see it morphing from hydra's so that hydras would finally have a good reason to be used. (still am praying for the lurker) | ||

Interviews from Blizzard also state that they get a lot of their "inspirations" from sci-fi films such as Starship Troopers. This new zerg unit possible shoots from the front instead of the back. | ||
