Although some people are saying that it looks like a Roach morph, I have to strongly disagree with that guess.
The head is definitely a Hydralisk head, especially if you do a side-by-side comparison. The Roach head is way too different to be related, and the features on the top of this head are too similar to that of the Hydralisk. Although the front legs look somewhat like Roach legs, it also can be argued that they are morphs of Hydralisk legs.
In addition, the Roach has six legs while this only has four (from what can be seen/guessed in the picture). I think it would be illogical for the Roach to lose legs when it morphs.

I legitimately think this is the closest guess I've seen. I don't think it will provide/cost supply, but I could see it being a unit with high hp/armor that can be burrowed strictly for walling purposes. I think it looks a lot like a hermit crab, myself, and think it could burrow behind that big back shell to block areas off.
Yeah i don't think it will be a siege unit. Terran has tanks, Toss have Colossi and Zerg has Broodlord. And if we have to find a non-fitting unit between the siege units, that would be the colossi, since it's not slow like the other two (and siege units should conceptually be slow and/or fragile since they have long range)
IMHO it's a substitute for the roach. Roach isn't really liked, so maybe:
- Roach Removed - Hydra back to T1 tweaked as the main damage dealer - This as an evolution for the Hydra as a meatshield unit like the roach once was. Maybe as a special ability they burrow and form a wall with a lot of HP/armor as pseudo-forcefields. Or they can attack from burrowed too in some ways.

' Yeah you can see the crown of the hydralisk head, and the hydra head is more long than it is wide.
Is it confirmed that this new units will be available in multiplayer? Or will Blizzard rather not screw the balance and include the units only for the campaign
Looks like a mutated roach with siege capabilities. Not a fan as it doesn't fit with the "swarm" mentality of the zerg but hell. It could also be a spore crawler.

Dammit now i think thats the blizzard version of the hydra-roach >_<
here's another idea that no one has come up with yet (that I have seen)...
what if its some sort of transport for units. like, if it can carry banelings/zerglings and has increased health/armor so that breaking terran contains would be more interesting...maybe even if it dies it can still release the units inside the transport so that they can still fight.
or maybe it could be a cliffwalker (zerg has no cliffwalkers yet) so that you could transport zerglings/banelings up cliffs past FFEs and stuff.
Seems also like it could be a burrowed unit that shoots like a spore crawler or something while burrowed ( Claws look big for digging and the big back where it looks like projectiles come out from will stick above ground ?)
I don't understand why everyone wants lurker so bad... It would be worse that bad in SC2 because of Hydra cost and because it's Lair Tech. Also every army ever has detection ez.

The balance is going to change in each expansion multiplayer wise just like vanilla SC to BW. New units and different balances changes are going to happen and I can't wait.
