wow that video only had one original unit, the soul hunter, everything else is already in the game. Tempest? Just a dark looking carrier. Phase cannon? Just a failed photon cannon. Twilight archons difference was that it shot a constant beam, if you noticed it had a beam that constantly attacked until the unit was dead like a sentry or void ray.

Tempest had a shield that is kinda like a harden shied but against ground attacks only. The phase cannon makes me think bout the spine/spore crawler since it can move around. And at the end that FF last a looong time.

I want those phase cannons. Then at least it might be worth while to get one or two early on since you could relocate them. Though I imagine it didn't make it because it would create an unstoppable cannon rush.

I'd consider them to be more like bunkers than crawlers, personally.

The Reaver appears in the video as well. So it really is the graveyard of discarded Protoss unit concepts.

There are already 5 units from the warpgate. I would much rather it be a robo tech unit.

please let it be robotics, and have the colossus go away forever...
I can't see them actually just adding the reaver, but a unit that functions like one would be great for the game. Maybe a Dark-Reaver? There currently aren't any dark units from the robotics right? That would be cool.

I expect robotics I want gateway

Yes at this point we're just concerned with the cartooney aesthetics and proportions of the units. Is the art team trying to capture the WC3/LoL/WoW crowd? It's the only explanation... I don't see how anything in WoL is more stylized than anything in SC1, which had robot slugs and walking eggs that shot rockets. Yes, but the proportions and movement animations felt a degree more realistic, and zerg and protoss felt less similar than they do in SC2. I can go more in depth if you like.

Wow i'm so hyped!! Give me something good blizzard<3

Voted other. It'd be nice to have a unit come out of the fleet beacon, maybe it'd be worth building then. =(

You want a T1 unit with 7 range? Seriously?

I hope you realize that a Reaver, or anything with the splash damage even near what a reaver had, would aboslutely wreck bioballs on a level way above that of the collosus. It wasn't an issue in brood war because you couldn't have as many units as you wanted in one control group - so it didn't create the clumped up "balls" that we see in SC2. In SC2, you can have as many units as you want in a control group, and thus, the "balls" are created. Be careful what you wish for...

It must be Robo, because the Colossus has to be replaced for the good of e-sports, and just battle.net in general.
