I don't know how good or bad the dreamhuk schedule for NA was. But let's put it this way: the IPL schedule was really good and enjoyable for EU, excpet the last two games. A lot better then MLG. If there would not have been LoL, the schedule would be perfect for NA and EU I guess.

At the same time though, it doesn't encourage EU players to watch the rest of the tourney when you are given the finger for the finals. I mean I will certainly check for how Sunday is laid down on IPL4 and decide just how much of my weekend I'm going to be dedicating to watching, since when you've watched for 4 days straight and get denied the end it's pretty damn bad, and to put ontop of it, because it was for a game that had it's own stream already and I have exactly no interest in. That's salt in the wounds.(and i'm now gonna stop qqing ![]()

I love LoL, I watched both streams at the same time, but it's not a good idea to force it on the SC2 crowd. Force? People who didnt want to watch LoL could just do other stuff for an hour... Blizzcon qualifiier showed WoW I watched some of it to see what it's lke and when I didnt feel like watching it I did other stuff and still didnt miss a sc game.. IPL had 2 games at the event and showing the final on the main stage for the lesser popular game is normal..

- DJWheat(This guy never seems to make things awkward its great) and DApollo(Perhaps even better than Artosis at analysis and interesting accent lol) - Lanibot and camera man (beast crew) - Panel led by Incontrol Things i didnt like: Making players shake hands at the start, quite awkward there are better ways to introduce them or like make them do a fighting pose like in boxing or something. Lol semi finals before sc2 finals. Need a better final ceremony. Plan it out more to make it less awkward. Ceremonies are just as important as the game, it really makes the memories.

Imagine the superbowl/any other event being delayed for 3 hours because they instead show a match or two of german soccer. Not annoying at all, right? Both legitimate sports but they are both not really wanted in the respective "other camp". It doesn't work out, it will make everyone unhappy as everyone just gets 50% of the cake instead of the whole thing. (Most)SC2 fans don't want to watch LoL, (Most)LoL fans don't want to wach SC2. I was really happy with the IPL but showing the LoL stuff and delaying everything because of it made me really upset. This is why I didn't give a 10. However, it was still really good. I can't say anything else that was bad.

The crysis management was really awesome, especially the quick reaction to make the prime stuff available for people without prime, just so they do not have any downtime. Would of course be a lot better for me, if it was in Europe, but hey i can't have everything ![]()

Since i could watch the vods immediately the next day i don't care about the schedule. Really one of the best tournaments lately. On minor thing. Don't show old Interviews, if you could just interview live one of the many players that are there.

I think it was ok, and I usually avoid adverts whenever I can. @3: the sound of the game and commentators was too low while the intros and comercials were pretty loud.. @4: I actually can read, like most people so if there's a Samsung logo I know they are sponsoring I don't need to hear it all the time. You don't hear a sports commentator saying "XYC is supporting Baseball" or stuff like that if you see the commercial you know it!

The interviews were pretty bad. Do we really need an interview with dumb questions every game? Maybe it was those two hosts just asking stupid things that made this awkward and pointless. Hosts dressed like it's the oscars made no sense either. Someone like 2GD would make more sense at a gaming tourney. The sound level was very low, my laptop was at max volume and I still couldn't hear it that well at times. And people forfeiting games should be out the tournament (Idra). Other than that, well procuded, well put together. Keep it up.

Personally I don't, but it's part of the SB and I don't go on forums saying every SB could have been better if there was no concert.

And yet one more thing, both ladies were severely overdressed for an event like this.

This event was superior to previous one in so many aspects (eg downtime handling) but failed in the obvious aspects : - caster selection - format (I felt like the group stage was meaningless, how can a player just forfeit all his games?) - Lol final : I am in Europe and just fell asleep during the second LoL game... I tried to understand the first game (having playing dota for quite a long time) but failed. I think if we have nothing else to watch during the LoL final, at least IPL could have supplied us with bottom-low level commentary on a secondary stream. Sad I missed the two last sc2 matches... I put 7/10 (-1 point for each of the above point)

I didn't enjoy the overall graphic design, overlays, ect. The strong, shiny colours was off and irritating. The scoreboard had the same issue, but also lacked some details, like the columbs. Overall it felt only semi professionally made. - Stream gamma, colour issues Through day 1-3 this was 100% perfect, however, on day 4 the same gamma, colours issues that IPL2 had was back. The stream picture's colours was a little off + rather dark = lack of details on some of the buildings, terrain, objects ect. - In-game sound While they did correct this to make it much less of a issue, I'd still like to them to turn it up by 10-15%. Some immersion was lost to me. - Bad observing Some of the casters are quite bad at observing (very!). If you don't have good machanics in-game playing then you don't have it when observing. Solution: Dedicated obs to help the casters with bad machanics. - Imbalanced in analytic casters verus play-by-play casters Apollo was the only proper analytic caster of the bunch and that made Apollo and djWheat by far the best combo. - Lag issues on 720p+ There was a weird bug when switching to 720p+ quality that made the stream very shuttering (like how low fps feels), however, when refreshing the stream over and over it would sometimes be completely smooth. It might have been overworked servers. - (very small issue) The mouse pointer not always hidden on the players view streams I noticed that the mouse pointer could have been hidden better and some times it was even in the middle of the screen. ![]()
