I would say the tournament was great with a lot of content and quite interesting, but because of the lag problems and some other smaller thing I give it 8. EDIT: Okay so I read some posts and it seems its justin.tv fault as eastern Europe lags way too much way too often. But still IGN should either change streaming partner or do something so that viewers everywhere and not only in several countries watch it lag free !

Forever grateful. The LoL finals were a bad choice. I do not care to watch that game at all, even though I play it, and I am pretty sure a lot of EU viewers called it a night there.

Switching to LoL made everyone turn off the stream, I would rather watch a showmatch between Lani and Ting again then watch that boring game. Luckily at our Cleveland Barcraft we were able to go play pool and ping pong for 2 hours until the finals. Everything else was damn near perfect. 9/10

It caused the stream to hemorrhage viewers and when they came back, it made 2 of the 3 games unwatchable. This was a big issue for me, i live in europe and it was already 1:30 when the LoL started, and it made me turn the stream of, i think there were 60kish viewers, once the LoL came on it went to like 20-15k. I undertand it was the LoL grand final, but there were 6 streams, whats wrong with having the LoL final on the stream were they had all the other LoL stuff and keep SC2 on the main stage as most people came to see SC2. Other then that it was amazing, you had problems not all your fault but you kept us informed, also having 4booths was the best idea ever just match after match, non of this hour wait bs between matchs. Overall you guys did an good job, there are things to learn but you did better then most for your first live event.

Couple of negatives: - sound of the casters seemed really low at all times. Had to turn up my volume up to max on my laptop just to get a "normal" level of audio, this doesn't seem right. - That LoL late on Sunday... as a European, this really pissed me off.

a) If you are ahead of schedule that is a great thing, be happy about it schedule should atleast get back to normal in due time as these tournaments always have schedule issues, instead of a stupid show match you could have just ask the next set of players if they'd play early, not force them, but just ask them. b) If you have 7 streams DO NOT play LoL finals on a stream full of starcraft fans, the stream numbers dropped and due to lol taking forever to finish a single game, no one from EU besides all nighters could actually watch semi-finals/finals. I like the fact that you guys start early in the states to get a decent time in EU. But if you would have not done the show match and the panel after the tournament, chances are you would have had way higher stream numbers for the finals.

Firstly, the format. Pool play is useless and not interesting. The fact that you had to give prize money to pool play winners in order to give incentive for trying is slightly alarming. Not the biggest fan of Ro32 single elimination either, although it is better than MLG system, which favours the Koreans sooo greatly (foreigners cannot dodge good Koreans in MLG). Secondly, lag and lol. Sorry, I simply don't enjoy watching MOBA games and having it forced upon me is a bit annoying. Lag was unbearable in stc vs stephano.

Feedback: Pool play format needs to change for reasons already stated in the thread. The on the last day was really bad for Europeans. I was going to stay up and watch the 2nd semi final and the finals, but when they announced LoL was going to be broadcasted I went to bed. It was getting too late. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy watching League of Legends too, but I'm not going to stay up for that. The following morning I tried to watch the VODs for the final, but they were pretty hard to find. Also, I wasn't able to find them without seeing spoilers. - Better player intros. They felt really... awkward. The players were announced, shook hands and started to play. I'd really like to see some sort of pre-match interview, or something. Other than that, it was perfect. Best tournament (maybe second to GS(T)L) to date.

Not to 'hate on e-sports' or whatever, but you do not cross the str(b)eams. Ever. While your target groups may overlap slightly, there is a large community behind SC2 and a good amount has no interest in LoL, and the same is true for LoL. It would be like the world cup of football airing a baseball game between, and while people will certainly stay tuned or return for the next game, when you're broadcasting at 2 AM in Europe, those people will just go to bed. The good points was.. well, everything. I liked the casters, and it was cool to see IGN stick with their 'core' casters, as well as mix it up and give wheat/dApollo/Doa plenty of casting to do as well. Props. The production value was amazing, as it's been since IPL1 and has been the reason I've been a fan ever since. The technical issues needn't be discussed, they obviously are not your fault, but you get massive bonus points for the Lani/Beast crew thing keeping day 2 alive. Honestly, her, buddy and whoever else was involved with that deserve a big christmas bonus for that one. That not only kept day 2 watchable, it may have just made day 2 the best one you had. The games were terrific, the players were looked after comfortably and treated well, I cannot say enough nice things about the IPL. This was the best SC2 tournament ever hosted, and although there is room for improvement as mentioned by others, I do not believe any tournament will come close in quality for a long time. Untill IPL4, that is. Oh, and one final thing, the venue. The one thing MLG, and foreign events in general, has/have, is the amazing crowd. It's what makes Koreans love it, what makes foreigners so proud, and gives you a feel like you're actually experiencing an amazing live sports show. Choose something that at least allows all visitors next time. I might be over 21, but not everyone who is a fan is. Everyone wants as live crowd that's as large as can be, and you should really consider moving to Vegas(Considering they allow all ages in their casinos as visitors, or so I read earlier?). Thank you, IGN. Thanks to Alex, David, the casters, and everyone else who worked tirelessly to create the best tournament of SC2, and perhaps e-sports as a whole, to date.

Like many Europeans, you lost me after semi 1. Other than that, it was mostly a great event. Especially the way the downtime was handled with some improvised things just to keep stuff running was good.

The only criticism I have was the speed of VOD's being put up / being labelled / easy to find. It's great having a live stream, and it's great having an awesome production, but with the international nature not everyone can watch live, so having an easy catalogue is essential.

Positive things: -Great games/players -Not a lot of downtime between games -Stream 5/6 with Lani, Megumi and Allyn -Boxer playing BW -Great translator choice with Smix/Susie(and Wax too) -Anna+Rachel did a good job -Live on three and the player pannels -I discovered that CatsPJ is a pretty good caster -Nice money distribution where everyone got something Negative things: -Some stream lag especially on Sunday -The LoL finals before the 2nd semi final. I understand that you wanted to introduce LoL to sc2 spectators but some people(including me) cannot enjoy MOBA games. Many of us just switched to the devastation stream watching SSF4. The LoL games also ruined the sc2 finals for many Europeans who couldn't stay up all night especially a Sunday night since many people have work/school on Monday. Overall, really nice tournament
