I'm pretty sure Bomber won't win this, anyone care to make a bet? I can bet up to one billion dollars, but whatever you guys want to bet is fine.

Been wondering that too. Goes to show how bad people are at reading before posting/reacting, or just in general :\ On a more positive note: Pretty good to see RB get involved and it's a nice intiative. Do the attending players only play each other or will they go on ladder or play off-site players as well? Hopefully we'll get to see some stuff what goes beside the games as well, for instance replay analyzes /w player's commentary, or just some fun relaxation to get rid of the game-induced adrenaline; you know, stuff like bungee/parachute/base jumping, extreme BMX/motorcross, airraces - your usual RB fare

I just fail to see how it's possible to NOT gain anything by going there? Of course they're going to gain as much by going as the NA players, though I agree with you that koreans could prolly get better practice (but not preparations!) at home.

sound awesome the lineup is very good but a little questionable.it seems like a walkover for bomber maybe if the northern gods will shine Thorzain will have a slight chance
|
I like that Redbull's first order of business is to push a nerd out of a plane lol.
Anyway the lineup sounds awesome, Thorzain vs Bomber likely for finals but the rest of those players are pretty creative/goofy in their play-styles. Should be a pretty excellent tournament.

People literally do not read the OP, or the multiple posts on each page telling them this is not a tournament. There's no winners or losers, there's no prize money.
Keep posting about how someone's gonna win this tournament that doesn't exist forever.

Minigun vs Destiny in the finals HERPDERP

It's not a tournament, Redbull LAN is more like a practice house for two - three days that's being streamed. there is no prize money. Should be good practice for them foreigners though, I do not think any of them are in any houses outside of Ret at the moment.
|
So Bomber is spending 40+ hours traveling to practice with talent that is:
1. For the most part inferior to what you find at the ST house. 2. Doesn't speak his language.
Hmm...
Also it isn't truly a LAN...

I think Day9 will definitely make it to the final. If Xellos don't knock him out of the tournament first.

Also it isn't truly a LAN... Since Red Bull is not doing anything for free and plan to somehow profit from this I am sure all the players involved with this will somehow get payed. For sure they will have a great free experience.

LOL. No, they just pulled Destiny's alt account info. Tbh, it's pretty hilariously ill-informed. I think he's probably the most "famous" player in there for non-hardcore SC2 fans. Obviously if you follow SC2 at all you could probably name the races of each player attending, but if you were to ask about each players race, favorite build, playstyle, etc I think most people would know Destiny the best.
|
So when does the stream start ? Can't see it on the side schedule and don't see starting time on OP either.
