For Millennium and Stephano to come out with a statement like this, and then supposedly refuse to discuss this with Complexity seems very unprofessional. Such a shame, Stephano is a monster player, and I want to like him.

If contracts can just be broken at will then chaos would ensue. It would be good to have a case which ensures that contracts will be honored in the future. Otherwise the whole industry might even just falla apart.

Come on dude, read the next line. edit: Stephano contacted coL.CatZ and our COO Jason Bass to inform them he had made his final decision and told CatZ "Don't worry I won't change my mind again." He then executed a legally binding contract with our organization.

Considering the Sneaky Snake moves they did with vVvTitan i wouldn't expect anything different from CoL. At all. They are actually going to try and take Legal action if i'm correct after reading the Official Statement. Hrm... Not good

T,T "He then executed a legally binding contract with our organization." Also verbal agreements are binding, while hard to prove, they are still legally binding. Also French Law doesn't necessarily apply here. Can people please stop thinking its that simple. "He lives in France therefor French law > all". No, not in a situation like this.

If so then Millennium just showed a great deal of unprofessionalism.

It does not say he contacted CatZ to execute the contract, it says he contacted CatZ, afterwards he executed the contract (which can be implied to mean that he signed it), after which he reneged on his contractual agreement, and (supposedly) he and Mill. have refused to open any discussions with Complexity.

But most likely Millenium (since Stephano probably has no material assets and it would look bad and potentially damage recruitment if Complexity starts suing players).

Now, on to the more important matters. @Jason Lake: you have my full support - that was the most honest and open release ever, and I seriously hope you guys will push this to limits that Millennium has no idea exist. A most shameful and disrespectul act has been committed today, whether by confusion or on purpose by Millennium. Whatever the reasoning may be from Millennium, you should rest assured that the "popular" choice of Stephano sticking with his heart is the retarded choice, and should not sway your actions whatsoever - those people don't understand what is good for eSports. We, and I mean me and the rest of the community that values professionalism and the true growth of eSports, give you our FULL support, and ask that if you ever need anything from us, don't hesitate to ask. <3 compLexity FIGHTING!!!
